Can a faucet or counter top filtration system be added to this faucet?
We have a granite counter top. An under the counter filtration system requires putting an additional hole the granite, which we do not want to do. Are there any other filtration systems, other than a whole house system, that will work with this type of faucet, that will still allow you to use the pull out sprayer?
Asked by: Shirley
Hi Shirley!
Thank you for your question. We do not have a filtration system that will work with this type of faucet and do not recommend attaching anything to a pullout aerator. I apologize for the inconvenience, however, we do make beverage faucets that are designed to work with RO systems, filtered water systems, or as a cold water tap, but would require a hole through the countertop. I will include a link to those models below.

spray to stream conversion
We have a delta pull out faucet which will maintain the previous setting of stream or spray pattern when the water is turned off and then turned back on.
Does this unit maintain previous settings or revert to default of stream pattern when turned off and on?
Asked by: Lissa
Hi Lissa,
Thank you for your question! The wand will stay in the last setting (stream or spray) that it was placed in.

How do I remove the aerator from model # 16959-SD-DST?
Asked by: victoria271
Hi, Victoria271!
Thank you for your question. The aerator assembly for the Delta 16959-SPSD-DST can be unscrewed at the sprayer assembly by unscrewing counterclockwise.

Why is it being discontinued? and what is the replacement for it. I like this style.
Asked by: Bill
Thank you for your question, Bill. Items become discontinued primarily due to lack of sales. The 4140-DST Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet and the model 9183-DST Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet each have some similar features. spray spout/wand composition -- flow rate
Water efficiency is not an issue where I live. Can this faucet be locked into the higher flow rate or have a restrictor removed?
Also is the spray head metal or plastic?
Asked by: liz
Hi liz,
Thank you for your question! The flow rate can be increased with the Mult-Flow feature to 2.2 gpm. However, the flow rate will revert back to 1.5 gpm setting when the water is turned off and back on. The Multi-Flow setting cannot be permanently locked in the on position.
Best regards,
Jon
