The pull-down spray wand comes free with a gentle tug and gives you total flexibility. The hose extends and retracts without friction points, fed by gravity. As you raise the wand to dock it, the magnet embedded in the spout pulls the wand precisely into place. So, unlike other pull-downs that tend to droop over time, MagnaTite® keeps your pull-down faucet looking picture-perfect. Delta's exclusive DIAMOND Seal® Technology uses a valve with a tough diamond coating. InnoFlex® PEX waterways keep water inside the faucet out of contact with potential metal contaminants. This powerful combination brings you a faucet built to last up to five million uses. Only Delta faucets are equipped with Touch-Clean® soft, rubber nubbins that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger.
  • MagnaTite docking keeps the kitchen pull-down spray wand firmly in place with a powerful integrated magnet, so it stays docked when not in use
  • DIAMOND Seal Technology features a valve embedded with diamonds to ensure like-new operation for the life of the faucet
  • Includes matching finish soap dispenser
  • Meets standards set by Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent faucet - don't like the base This faucet is well built and looks great. My only complaint is the baseplate that covers the 3 holes in my countertop does not feel sturdy as the plastic it snaps into isn't very robust. This should be improved. Otherwise I'm happy with it so far, and feel confident with the lifetime warrantee. The magnetic spray head works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product, does exactaly what it's supposed to. I have had this faucet installed in our kitchen sink for six years now and we have never had an issue, no drips or anything else, it works perfectly. The reason I'm writing this review is to commend Delta for their customer service. While the faucet has performed flawlessly, it has started to loosen up from the sink and while Delta originally packaged a wrench with the faucet, I cannot find where I put it after the installation six years ago. I called Delta, they found the faucet number, the parts breakdown and finally the wrench I needed. The remarkable part is that they sent me the wrench for FREE, zip, nada, nothing, no charge for the part (which I lost), no shipping charge, nothing...absolutely free. Now that's customer service, thanks Delta!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations In replacing an old kitchen faucet, we did a lot of research. We liked the style of this but were concerned when we read someone had problems with the magnet closure or the stainless finish. We find it very easy to keep clean, the magnet works perfectly unless you twist the pullout to one side. It is not difficult to get into the habit of turning the water off correctly (also mentioned by some as a problem). We love it and would recommend it to anyone. We had it installed using Faucet Direct installation plan. Worked great and excellent price for our area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 years later and still love it I bought this faucet 4 years ago from this website. I still love the design and finish. It is a timeless elegant design and I even recommended this to my mother who is considering getting a replacement faucet. My husband like the 'shower' mode, and I like the 'stream' mode and this faucet has both with an easy switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new faucet I really like this Delta Faucet. It was not hard to learn to use (hot, cold, high flow, lower flow etc..), it's beautiful, functional, doesn't show water spots.. I like it a lot!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Valve leaked and had to be replaced. The faucet looks great, loved the design and the way it swivels. The sprayer is especially nice. However can't recommend due to quality. The faucet was installed by a Roto Rooter plumber. Shortly after installation my wife found water under the sink. I checked it out a saw water coming from the bottom of the faucet. I called Roto Rooter and they checked it out and said it was a faucet problem and to call Delta. My wife called Delta and they sent a new handle valve. It was installed by Roto Rooter at my expense. So far it is not leaking. I expected a new product to be without fault. Guess I was wrong. I recommended the Delta to my wife to replace a leaking Dansk faucet she had purchased when we had the kitchen remodeled. I was disappointed that the Delta leaks. I also purchased a new Delta for our laundry room that was installed the same day as the one in our kitchen. We have only used the tub once and so far no leaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! This faucet is a replacement for another Delta faucet that was under warranty. Exceptional quality and ease of installation. I must also comment on the wonderful customer service department in dealing with the exchange of this faucet. I will recommend Delta to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use The pull down sprayer is a great feature never tangles, always snaps back. It also has good pressure for rinsing dishes. Usually let it hang down while doing dishes otherwise spray splashes a lot, maybe should have installed a deeper sink when we remodeled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's the way to go !! The price was very good and the shipping was fast. The installation was easy using a few common household tools. My only complaint is that the water flow is less than my old 25 year old faucet...I guess the water restrictor technology will cut down on my comsumption...Thus helping to conserve water and money...I'll get used to it !!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Faucet We really like this faucet and have no problems with it. I love that you can have a solid flor or a spray and that the cord goes back into the faucet easily. I have friends-family that come over and cant figure out how to use the temperature and pressure control but this is true of any modern faucet and one you know how to use it, it is no problem. The only thing that has been only so so is the soap pump. It doesnt feel too secure to our counter and depending on where you install it and how deep your sink is, it can be difficult to reach to refill or tighen enough. But we dont have to do it too often so overall it is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Speedy delivery I ordered this product on Friday night and received the product on Wed. It's a free deliverly. Very unexpected!. Very happy with he service. The faucet looks very nice. Haven't installed the faucet yet. Waiting for the plumber to change the sink and install the faucet in the same time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice faucet I really like this faucet. The only slight con is the soap dispenser. It is a little low. I think it would be better if the pump was 1/2 -1 inch higher. It would be easier to use. Right now you have to put the pot almost right under the pump, against the countertop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet Faucet works well and works great. The handle is a little tricky as you have to center it to prevent the post use drip. After several uses it's not difficult. My handy man installed it for $50. It took about 1.5-2 hours to remove the old leaky faucet and to install the new one. I really like the magnetic pull out spray.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded our expectations We are extremely satisfied with our new faucet. Delivery came in 3 days, sooner than expected. Installation was easy as described. Didn't install the soap dispenser. Look is very classy and contemporary. We're going to reposition the handle more toward the front instead of the side that way the water from our wet hands can drip into the sink rather than on to the counter. Overall very high quality product and many compliments. Thanks

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Faucet This delta faucet looks beautiful faucet in our home. It worked great with our brand new granite countertops. Prior to installation we thought the facuet would be too large in the space but it fits quite well. The handle is convenient for on and off and temperature control. Magnet does not always connect right away; you may have to move the head around to get it perfectly aligned. Did not use the lotion dispenser and only used the one hole set up. Overall a good purchase.

water filter

Does Delta have a water filter that attaches to this faucet.
Asked by: AW
Thank you for your question. Currently there is not an option for a Delta Faucet water filter that will attach to this model; however, below is a link to our beverage faucets that can be included in a mounting application. These faucets are compatible with a reverse osmosis (RO) system. http://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/details/1914-ar-dst.html

Installation on a SS Sink?

How well does this faucet install on a 1 hole SS sink? Does it wobble or flex the top of the sink too much?
Asked by: Basser
Hi Basser, Thank you for your question! If the faucet will be installed through a counter top, it should not wobble of flex. If it is being installed on a thin stainless steel sink only, we recommend to use the RP37490 Thin Deck Aid to hep prevent it from flexing. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP37490 Best regards, Jon

Is the soap dispenser refilled from the top or underneath?

Asked by: Geri
Dear Geri, Thank you for your inquiry. The soap dispenser of the Delta Talbott 16968-SSSD-DST, can be refilled by lifting the head and pump assembly out of the dispenser and pouring not more than 8 oz. into bottle. You can also remove the bottle from below the sink, refill it and reinstall it. Best regards, Tanya

Does the sprayer have a pause feature?

Wondering if this sprayer has a pause feature, ie. a button that temporarily stops the flow of water when pressed?
Asked by: DCorris1798
Hi, DCorris1798! Thank you for your question. This faucet, 16968-SSSD-DST, does not have a pause feature. The sprayer assembly has a mode selector button to change from spray to stream only. Best Regards, Rosanna

Is it possible to separate connector in the middle of the braided pull out hose?

I'm referring to the connector in Step 3b of the Install sheet. I don't remember exactly how the connection worked and I don't want to damage it. I need to tighten the nut that holds the faucet in place and you can't use a standard under-sink wrench with this model. I can't find original install tool so I'm planning to use a large deep-well socket that I hope to be able to side the hose all the way through.. so I can get it up to the nut. Also, anyone know what size that nut is? hard to measure while it's installed.
Asked by: StevenBee
Dear StevenBee, Thank you for your question. To remove the hose clip assembly, from your installed Delta Talbott Pull-down kitchen 16968-SD-DST faucet, you would want to push on the opened side of the clip. Pushing the opened side of the clip towards the tube, it is clipped on, would help unclip it, just opposite of its install in diagram 3b page 12, below. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/63235%20Rev%20G.pdf Best regards, Tanya

The faucet continues to have less pressure while all other sinks in house remain unchanged. The faucet is about 4 months old. Is there an in line filter on the faucet that needs to be cleaned?

Asked by: Scott
Hi, Scott! Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your Delta faucet. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your wand and then hose assembly to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. For more assistance with this, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna
