Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks beautiful, very happy Very happy that it fit (in the already drilled holes) in my granite counter top. And it looks so modern & up to date.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed. Read the midrange reviews first. We've had this for going on 6 months and nothing but trouble with it. We originally had problems with it not seating flush with the new sink...solved that with a thin coat of silicone (not the best solution but worked), now it leaks when I shut the faucet off. So, I have to make sure to pull the handle to the right and then turn it off. Not worth the $$$.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the Delta Guarantee! I love the Delta Guarantee! Delta stands behind their products. I know that from experience since I had a problem long ago, and Delta sent a new replacement with out a hassle. I will always buy Delta when I need faucets. Very easy to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What We Needed We remodeled our kitchen 24 years ago including a Delta Faucet that needed three holes in the new counter top (Valve, Faucet, and Sprayer). When it came time to replace the faucet, we needed a model that would fill all three holes. This was not a 'slam dunk' because everyone has replaced the separate sprayer with an integrated spray head and many have also integrated the valve so that only one hole in the counter top is required. Thankfully, Delta has the 16970-SD-DST model with separate faucet, valve, and soap dispenser. True, we now have two soap dispensers but we don't have an empty hole in our counter top. And best of all is the performance of the Magnatite Docking, Diamond Seal, and Touch Clean features. I have no doubt that this system will last us another 24 years as did our last Delta faucet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love this faucet. I can’t say enough good things about this faucet. It is superior to any kitchen faucet I’ve had in the 20 plus years in my house. It looks fantastic and works beautifully. I did not install it myself, but the person who did the installation was able to do it pretty easily. I would recommend this faucet to anyone ready to have a great looking, great working faucet in their kitchen.

I have a 2-hole sink. I only need the faucet and handle, not the soap dispenser. I bought a Kate and the box indicates it can be used with a 2-hole sink, but all the installation literature indicates a 3-hole sink. Can this be installed in a 2-hole sink?

Asked by: Bruce
Thank you for your question, Bruce ! The Kate, model 16970-SD-DST, can be installed on a two or three-hole sink as this Delta faucet comes with a soap dispenser but this does not have to be installed if it is not needed. Best regards, Edward

Hello, can the Kate soap dispenser be filled with foaming soap?  Thanks!

Asked by: Stuman74
Hello Stuman74, Thank you for your question. Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. Foaming soap will pump from the soap dispenser but it will not foam. Best regards, Jon

I do not see the lead compliance data for this model. Is this lead free?

Asked by: Labas
Thank you for your inquiry, Labas! There are no lead containing components used in the construction of the Delta Kate Pull-Down Kitchen 16970-SSSD-DST or any of our new DST (Diamond Seal Technology) faucets. The box would have the No-Lead Compliant (checked circle) label, also shown on the website right above the product features. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/16970-SD-DST Best regards, Tanya

I owned this faucet for 5 years & LOVE it! But would like to know how I can restrict it's motion so it doesn't swing to far towards the back ledge of my sink that it could flood my counter?

Asked by: Zoegirl
Hi Zoegirl, Thank you for your inquiry! The spout of the Delta Kate Kitchen 16970-SD-DST faucet is designed to swivel/rotate 360˚. There is no way of adjusting this designed feature. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-16970-SD-DST%20Rev%20C.pdf Best regards, Tanya

We ordered a Delta kitchen faucet (16970-SD SDT). We have a concern about the nozzle. It appears (feels like) plastic rather than metal. Is it??

Asked by: Marcia
Thank you for your question, Marcia. The wand assembly is non-metallic. The spout and handle are metal. Best regards, Jon

If i disconnect lines from handle from the supply shutoffs to move the faucet, can i reconnect them later?

Faucet needs to be moved as the soap dispenser and faucet were installed on the wrong sides. If i disconnect the tubes from the supply lines, do i have to do anything to them to make sure they seal correctly when i reattach them? I want to make sure i still get a good seal with the provided fitting ends.
Asked by: MTBAHS#1
MTBAHS#1, Thank you for your question. You may disconnect the water lines and reinstall them. When reinstalling, please follow the installation instructions exactly as before. Best regards, Jon
