My faucet is approx. 5 years old. I'm not sure if I have the correct model, other than this view looks just like mine. Question is, it has started to drip occasionally. the handle must be perfectly aligned to stop the drip. which parts are most likely needed to get my faucet back to like new?
Thank you for your question. There is a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Tighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the unit still leaks, we recommend to replace the RP50587 valve cartridge assembly and the RP51503 bonnet nut.

Does the Velino facet come in brushed nickel?
Just bought the 16971 velino but menards says stainless is essentially the same as brushed nickel. It says "brilliance stainless finish" on the box, but the plummer says I need ad brushed nickel finish. Is that available?
Thank you for your inquiry! The Brilliance Stainless Steel and Brushed Nickel finishes are very similar. Brushed Nickel has a slightly warmer color. However, the Delta Velino Pull-Down Kitchen 16971-SSSD-DST faucet is manufactured in the Brilliance Stainless Steel finish only.

Can the Velino be increased to 2.2 gpm? If so, what is needed to do so?
Hi BT, Thank you for your question. The RP50815 aerator that comes with the model 16971-SSSD-DST is a full flow aerator. The water restriction is inside the wand itself, changing the aerator to a 2.2 gpm will not increase flow.

Does it spray on low pressure?
I would like to know if this or any arch type, pull down faucet you manufacture stays in "spray" position on low pressure (when faucet is on just a bit.) I have a MOEN and it always switches to straight flow as I bring the pressure down. I would like to rinse off pots and other items on "low" so I don't waste as much water! Please be detailed as possible. You can imagine that if I purchase one of these and install it based your response and it "switches" to straight flow on low, I'll be mighty upset... Perhaps the best way to ask the question is, will any of your models STAY in spray when you turn on and off? Thanks for the time. If you post my question, feel free to edit it to make sense. I did not quite know how to phrase my thoughts...
Hi PJ, Thank you for your question. The wand in the model 16971-SSSD-DST will stay in whatever mode that you choose. The wand toggles back and forth between spray and stream modes. It does not default to stream at low flow or at any flow rate until you choose to switch the flow pattern. When you shut the faucet off in spray mode, the wand will remain in spray mode when you turn the faucet back on.

Countertop hole dimensions and location
Hi, my granite contractor is asking me the following:
1) In the countertop, what size hole should be cut for the faucet?
2) In the countertop, what size hole should be cut for the soap dispenser?
3) What is the ideal distance for both holes from the edge of the sink?
The recommended hole size for the faucet and soap dispenser is 1 3/8". There is no recommendation for distance from the edge of the sink. Please see the attached the tech specs for this faucet.
