Rated 3 out of 5 by from Countertop Seal Needs Improvement Delta needs to improve this right away. I am a just retired mechanical engineer from Fortune 500 company. Needs a rubber seal to seal underside from countertop. You will have to improvise one and then seal exterior with small bead of silicone caulk. Otherwise you end up with drops of water inside the sink cabinet

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy, clean install Last faucet had me standing on my head, fitting a custom made washer to lock it in place .... never more. Removed old faucet, dropped new one into place, installed washer & locking nut finger tight. Then slipped the supplied wrench over the tubing and secured the locking nut. Water connection was just as quick. Cut off the compression fitting and slipped on a quick connect coupling ... done ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Performer I bought this faucet to replace the plastic one that came with my reverse osmosis (R/O) system. This Delta faucet has a solid feel and is easy to keep clean. Installation was quick and easy once I snipped off the factory supplied connector from the end of the tubing supply to modify the connection to my R/O system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I've installed many RO faucets and had problems with the ones with the simple flip mechanisms. This one has a handle that works like a regular faucet which works much better and doesn't leak, or drip.

Is there a Aerator removal tool available for the 1977-DST?

Asked by: Timothy
Thank you for your inquiry, Timothy! There is no aerator wrench designed for the Delta Transitional Beverage 1977-RB-DST faucet. There aerator of this faucet simply unscrews from the end of the spout. Best regards, Tanya

Is the 1977 DST compatible with all R/O systems? My plumber wasn't sure. We have a PuROMax Reverse osmosis system without airgap.

Asked by: Marc
Hello Marc, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the Delta Beverage 1977-RB-DST faucet is compatible with Reverse Osmosis systems. An air gap is included with 1/4" tube for the RO system. Best regards, Tanya

Is there a matching kitchen faucet to this beverage faucet?

We will be installing a new kitchen faucet and we have an RO system as well. We would like the faucets to match
Asked by: Sandra
Hi Sandra, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 1977-RB-DST does not have a specific series that it matches. We recommend matching the Venetian Bronze finish with this transitional faucet. Thanks. Jody

Which finish (stainless or artic stainless) would best match Moen's "spot resist stainless" finish?

I know this is a weird question, but I am hoping you have some kind of chart comparing finishes between yours and other manufacturers finishes. This faucet (1977 AR DST) is absolutely the best choice out of all I have looked at (and I have looked!!) to replace and old filtered water faucet I currently have. It will be sitting in close proximity to a full size faucet purchased from Moen. That finish is called "Spot Resist" stainless. It is described by them as "stainless with a lightly brushed warm metallic surface". I am hoping you can tell me which of your surface finishes will best match. I think the best choice is betweeen your standard stainless #which looks a little brushed on my screen but I can't really tell# and your artic stainless. Please advise me as to what you believe would be the best to match. Thank you for any input you can give.
Asked by: AnnieTX
Thank you for your question. We do not have a color match to our competitor's finish but we can describe the difference between the two finishes. The Stainless Steel finish does have more of a brushed look than the Artic Stainless. The Artic Stainless has more of blue tint and the Stainless Steel has a gold tint to it.

Can this faucet be used for both hot and cold filtered water?

Asked by: McKeon10
Hello McKeon10, Thank you for you question. The Delta Transitional Beverage 1977-DST faucet can be installed using hot or cold water but not both. The red line is for the optional air gap kit which is installed if you are using the faucet with a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system. Best regards, Tanya

There are e lines coming from the 1977-DST R.O. faucet: 1/4" red, 3/8" black, 3/8" grey. The installations diagram has the red and black lines clearly noted, but the main line is only noted as, "Line to RO filter Outlet". Is that the grey one?

Asked by: RJMang
Hi RJMang, Thank you for your question! The long gray PEX line connects to the water supply. It has a 3/8" compression fitting. Best regards, Jon

I'm looking for a water reverse osmosis dispenser to attach to my kitchen sink. What does Delta offer for a reverse osmosis filtered water dispenser from kitchen sinks? Thank you.

Asked by: Gayle
Hi, Gayle! Thank you for your question. We do not make reverse osmosis systems, however, the Delta 1977-DST faucet works with RO systems, filtered water systems, or as a cold water tap. Best Regards, Rosanna

will this faucet work with any water filtration system (not an RO system) that is installed in the cabinet under the sink, such as the Aqua Pure system? Also, which color will be closest to a brushed nickel kitchen faucet?

Asked by: Sally29
Hello Sally29, Thank you for you question. The Delta Transitional Beverage 1977-DST faucet can be used with any other filtration system that accepts or can be adapted to accept a 3/8" compression fitting. Best regards, Tanya
