Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This faucet installed as R/O faucet. It replaced the traditional R/O small faucet. I was worried pressure would be lower and that it would be difficult to install. I had my water treatment company install as I did not want to spend time under the sink. My R/O had a 1/4 inch line and faucet is 3/8. The screw coupling was changed on the R/O outlet to 3/8 and the faucet line was screwed in directly to the R/O outlet. It works and looks great. Water flow is higher than it was with R/O faucet. Installation only took about 30 minutes with majority of work removing old rusted faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta RO Faucet We installed the Delta RO Faucet as part of our kitchen renovation. It replaced the original Reverse Osmosis Faucet installed 20 years ago. We love the increased water flow. Since it is chrome finish it is easy to polish up after doing the dishes, keeping it looking sparkling and new. We would recommend this tap to others looking for a RO Faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for RO dispenser We were looking for something more stylish than what came with the RO system. This faucet is as advertised. It is good quality (hefty), easy to install, and can be installed lower than my sink faucet, which is important for looks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it's perfect I needed an r.o. faucet to match my champagne bronze Delta faucet & this is perfect. It arrived more quickly than my local plumbing supply store would have gotten it & I would have had to pick it up across town. The price was lower also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Understated ellegance!!! This is a product of considerable effort and imagination. The scale of the product to the main fixture speaks volumes about the design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works very well and coordinates with Delta hi-arc I didn't want an ugly chrome and plastic beverage faucet for my new kitchen, so I was delighted to find this one. My main faucet is Delta deLuca. Although this beverage faucet is a slightly different style than my main faucet, it coordinates very well and the finish (stainless steel) matches perfectly. The faucet is used for filtered (not RO) water, and keeps up with the high flow rate of the filter I use. I'm very happy with the design, great quality, and day-to-day operation of this faucet! Note, there is an RO option for this filter. Depending on the RO system, it may require an extension trim piece (supplied in the kit) which appears to be plastic with metallic finish to match the faucet. The trim piece attaches to the base of the faucet and increases the overall height around 2 inches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great water dispenser I replaced all of the hardware in the kitchen sink, including the sink drain and garbage disposal mount. I removed the soap dispenser and installed the Delta water dispenser that I connected to a remote Stage 3 water filter. This really dressed up the kitchen sink and added a touch of elegance to an ordinary kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute beverage faucet This is a cute little beverage faucet...looks great with the pull down full size kitchen sink faucet. Styles match nicely. Much better than the skinny RO faucets.

Is there a matching kitchen faucet to this beverage faucet?

We will be installing a new kitchen faucet and we have an RO system as well. We would like the faucets to match
Asked by: Sandra
Hi Sandra, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 1977-RB-DST does not have a specific series that it matches. We recommend matching the Venetian Bronze finish with this transitional faucet. Thanks. Jody

Which finish (stainless or artic stainless) would best match Moen's "spot resist stainless" finish?

I know this is a weird question, but I am hoping you have some kind of chart comparing finishes between yours and other manufacturers finishes. This faucet (1977 AR DST) is absolutely the best choice out of all I have looked at (and I have looked!!) to replace and old filtered water faucet I currently have. It will be sitting in close proximity to a full size faucet purchased from Moen. That finish is called "Spot Resist" stainless. It is described by them as "stainless with a lightly brushed warm metallic surface". I am hoping you can tell me which of your surface finishes will best match. I think the best choice is betweeen your standard stainless #which looks a little brushed on my screen but I can't really tell# and your artic stainless. Please advise me as to what you believe would be the best to match. Thank you for any input you can give.
Asked by: AnnieTX
Thank you for your question. We do not have a color match to our competitor's finish but we can describe the difference between the two finishes. The Stainless Steel finish does have more of a brushed look than the Artic Stainless. The Artic Stainless has more of blue tint and the Stainless Steel has a gold tint to it.

Can this faucet be used for both hot and cold filtered water?

Asked by: McKeon10
Hello McKeon10, Thank you for you question. The Delta Transitional Beverage 1977-DST faucet can be installed using hot or cold water but not both. The red line is for the optional air gap kit which is installed if you are using the faucet with a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system. Best regards, Tanya

There are e lines coming from the 1977-DST R.O. faucet: 1/4" red, 3/8" black, 3/8" grey. The installations diagram has the red and black lines clearly noted, but the main line is only noted as, "Line to RO filter Outlet". Is that the grey one?

Asked by: RJMang
Hi RJMang, Thank you for your question! The long gray PEX line connects to the water supply. It has a 3/8" compression fitting. Best regards, Jon

I'm looking for a water reverse osmosis dispenser to attach to my kitchen sink. What does Delta offer for a reverse osmosis filtered water dispenser from kitchen sinks? Thank you.

Asked by: Gayle
Hi, Gayle! Thank you for your question. We do not make reverse osmosis systems, however, the Delta 1977-DST faucet works with RO systems, filtered water systems, or as a cold water tap. Best Regards, Rosanna

Can this faucet be reversed to have the handle on the left

Can you reverse this faucet to have the handle on the left? If so will you be able to switch the direction of travel so it still rotates forward.
Asked by: J
Hi J, Thank you for your question. The spout on the model 1977-AR-DST rotates a full 360 degrees. The faucet can be installed with the handle of the left side but the handle will work in the opposite direction. Thanks Dave
