Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Had our kitchen remodeled and used this faucet for our under counter water filtration system. It works like a charm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy, clean install Last faucet had me standing on my head, fitting a custom made washer to lock it in place .... never more. Removed old faucet, dropped new one into place, installed washer & locking nut finger tight. Then slipped the supplied wrench over the tubing and secured the locking nut. Water connection was just as quick. Cut off the compression fitting and slipped on a quick connect coupling ... done ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Performer I bought this faucet to replace the plastic one that came with my reverse osmosis (R/O) system. This Delta faucet has a solid feel and is easy to keep clean. Installation was quick and easy once I snipped off the factory supplied connector from the end of the tubing supply to modify the connection to my R/O system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I've installed many RO faucets and had problems with the ones with the simple flip mechanisms. This one has a handle that works like a regular faucet which works much better and doesn't leak, or drip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful RO faucet I bought this faucet about 6 months ago and it still looks as shiny as the day I bought it. I hated that old RO faucet that came with the unit, so when we remodled our litchen we replaced it with this Delta and it made such a difference. It also works much better than the old one, no dripping and easy to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the finish I bought this a couple of months ago as part of a kitchen update in our new house. It is a great product. The faucet is easy to use and delivers lovely fresh water with the flick of a lever. The finish won me over straight away and it's even better in real life! I am addicted to the colour and bought matching kitchen faucet and then moved on to similar in our half bath.

Which finish (stainless or artic stainless) would best match Moen's "spot resist stainless" finish?

I know this is a weird question, but I am hoping you have some kind of chart comparing finishes between yours and other manufacturers finishes. This faucet (1977 AR DST) is absolutely the best choice out of all I have looked at (and I have looked!!) to replace and old filtered water faucet I currently have. It will be sitting in close proximity to a full size faucet purchased from Moen. That finish is called "Spot Resist" stainless. It is described by them as "stainless with a lightly brushed warm metallic surface". I am hoping you can tell me which of your surface finishes will best match. I think the best choice is betweeen your standard stainless #which looks a little brushed on my screen but I can't really tell# and your artic stainless. Please advise me as to what you believe would be the best to match. Thank you for any input you can give.

Thank you for your question. We do not have a color match to our competitor's finish but we can describe the difference between the two finishes. The Stainless Steel finish does have more of a brushed look than the Artic Stainless. The Artic Stainless has more of blue tint and the Stainless Steel has a gold tint to it.

We are interested in purchasing this faucet to be used for drinking water only, but will not be hooked up to any RO system or filtration.

Water will come straight from our well in to the house and we would like to hook this faucet up to use just for drinking water. My question is, will this faucet work hooked up directly, or does it have to be used with a filtration system?
Asked by: Malory
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 1977-SS-DST can be used without a filtration system. It can only have cold water coming into the faucet.

Transitional Beverage Faucet Stainless / Leland single handle/soap Homedepot

I have the home depot Leland single handle with soap dispenser on your site exclusive from home depot. I just order the Transitional Beverage Faucet in Stainless steel. in the picture one looks more yellow.. they both have the "SS" in model number. will they exactly match?
Asked by: Mike
Dear Mike, Thank you for your question. The Delta Stainless Steel (SS) finish is the same finish no matter what type of Delta faucet it is. The Delta Traditional Beverage 1977-SS-DST faucet in the Stainless Steel (SS) finish should match your Delta kitchen Stainless Steel (SS) finished faucet. Best regards, Tanya

What finish will best match your "Brilliance Stainless" finish I have on the 11946-sssd-dst I purchased.

Do you have any other "beverage faucets" that will better match the "Bellini" 11946-SSSD-DST?? Pls advise. thankyou Bill
Asked by: Bill
Thank you for your question. As long as there is an SS in model number, then you will be getting the Brilliance Stainless finish for your faucet. We have two beverage faucets to offer in that finish. The traditional style is 1914-SS-DST. The transitional style is 1977-SS-DST.

difference between artic stainless and brilliance stainless

Does the artic stainless also resist abrasions and discoloration like it mentioned for the brilliance stainless?
Asked by: Emmy
Hi Emmy, Thank you for your question! Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, following a trend seen throughout the kitchen. While it is not a PVD or Brilliance® finish, all finishes are covered under our Lifetime Warranty and should not discolor under normal use. Do you sell a filtration system to use with this faucet? Or do you recommend a certain kind that I can specify at a retailer?

Asked by: jyoungnc15
Hi jyoungnc15, Thank you for your question. We do not offer a filter system to work with our model 1977-SS-DST faucet. We do not recommend a certain style or brand of filter system to use with this model. The faucet is rated for use with filtration systems including RO systems. Thanks, Dave
