Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy, clean install Last faucet had me standing on my head, fitting a custom made washer to lock it in place .... never more. Removed old faucet, dropped new one into place, installed washer & locking nut finger tight. Then slipped the supplied wrench over the tubing and secured the locking nut. Water connection was just as quick. Cut off the compression fitting and slipped on a quick connect coupling ... done ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Performer I bought this faucet to replace the plastic one that came with my reverse osmosis (R/O) system. This Delta faucet has a solid feel and is easy to keep clean. Installation was quick and easy once I snipped off the factory supplied connector from the end of the tubing supply to modify the connection to my R/O system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I've installed many RO faucets and had problems with the ones with the simple flip mechanisms. This one has a handle that works like a regular faucet which works much better and doesn't leak, or drip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful RO faucet I bought this faucet about 6 months ago and it still looks as shiny as the day I bought it. I hated that old RO faucet that came with the unit, so when we remodled our litchen we replaced it with this Delta and it made such a difference. It also works much better than the old one, no dripping and easy to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the finish I bought this a couple of months ago as part of a kitchen update in our new house. It is a great product. The faucet is easy to use and delivers lovely fresh water with the flick of a lever. The finish won me over straight away and it's even better in real life! I am addicted to the colour and bought matching kitchen faucet and then moved on to similar in our half bath.

Match Stainless finishes

I have the Delta Arc SpotShield Stainless faucet (model 19936-SPSD-DST). Will the Brillance Stainless steel finish on the transitional beverage faucet (Model 1977-SS-DST match it?
Asked by: Diane
Hi Diane, Thank you for your question! The SpotShield Stainless on the model 19936-SPSD-DST and the Brilliance Stainless Steel on the 1977-SS-DST will match exactly the same. The only difference with our SpotShield Stainless is that it has an extra coating for fingerprint resistance. Best Regards, Rosanna

Simply put "does this faucet meet NSF Standard 58", Kinetico will not warranty their system unless it does.

Asked by: Craftsman
Craftsman, Thank you for your question. NSF Standard 58 applies to reverse osmosis filtration systems rather than water dispensing products such as this Beverage Faucet. From NSF.org: "NSF/ANSI 58 establishes the minimum requirements for the certification of point-of-use (POU) reverse osmosis systems designed to reduce contaminants that may be present in public or private drinking water." The faucet does comply with NSF Standard 61. For more information about the plumbing codes that this faucet complies with, please check the Technical Specifications: https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-1977-DST%20Rev%20D.pdf Best regards, Jon

Confused about water filtration

I have a Delta faucet w/ a light indicator w/ the Pur water filatration system under my sink. The light indicator broke and my current unit is now discontinued. The Delta CS Rep said I don't need a water filtration system w/ this new unit b/c it's in the actual unit. I'm confused. How is the water filtered? Do I actually need a system under my sink? If yes, what type of system is compatible? Without a light indicator on the faucet, how do I know when to change a filter?
Asked by: mmlinder
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 1977-AR-DST is a cold water only faucet. We are sorry but whomever you spoke to about this faucet was incorrect. It does not filter the water. It will need a fitration system hooked up to it if you would like filtered water. Any filtration system will work including reverse osmosis systems. The system will have its own mechanism for telling you when the filter needs to be changed.

Can this faucet be hooked up to a portable dishwasher?

I have a faucet with a pull down sprayer which cannot be hooked up to the portable dishwasher, so we want to install a separate faucet that's only hot water and the dishwasher can be connected to it without a problem.
Asked by: PMS
Hi PMS, Thank you for your question. You can connect this faucet to a portable dishwasher. However, you will need to purchase an adapter separately. The spout has a thread size of M18x1-6G Female. You may use the gasket from the aerator, but another gasket may be needed to ensure a water-tight connection at the spout. Best regards, Jon
