Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was very simple to install I looked at several different manufacturers and don't know why, because I have purchased Delta for several years. In the rental I installed this one in, I was concerned that the handle would contact the wall when operating for hot water. When I saw this model, it was no issue and liked all the other figures. Great product and assembled in US with a lifetime warranty. Thanks

The handle came loose. I tightened the Allen screw but it continues to loosen and come off. Now the female end of the Allen screw is stripped. The parts list is not working for me to determine what that part number is.

The soap dispenser does not squirt out the soap as well as when it was first installed. Seems to have gotten a bit clogged. how do I clean it?

Asked by: Sally
Thank you for your question, Sally. We recommend soaking the pump in warm water for about an hour and then pumping warm water through it to help clear any blockages. Best regards, Jon

Which air gap goes with the Delta Zalia 1981Z-SPSD-DST. Also, which Insinkerator Instant Hot Water Dispenser finish matches the Delta Zalia 1981Z-SPSD-DST?

Asked by: Mike
Thank you for your question, Mike. The 72020-SS Air Gap in the Stainless Steel finish will match SpotShield Stainless. Regarding other brands, the SpotShield Stainless finish has a traditional stainless color and can match brushed nickel finishes. We recommend checking with the manufacturer of the hot water dispenser to determine the best match. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/72020-SS Best regards, Jon

Zalia faucet boasts 1.8 gpm at 60 psi (at sink). I get 62 psi (nearby hose bibb). Is this faucet equipped with multiflow(TM) function that delivers 1.8 gpm temporarily, if so, how do I access.

Asked by: Mike
Hello Mike, Thank you for your question. The Delta Zalia Pull-Down Kitchen 19781Z-SPSD-DST faucet has a flow rate of 1.8 GPM at 60 PSI. The ShieldSpray feature does not increase the flow rate or pressure. The Delta ShieldSpray Technology cleans with laser-like precision while containing mess and splatter. A concentrated jet within a protective sphere of water powers away stubborn messes with an average of 90% less splatter than a standard spray, so you can spend less time soaking, scrubbing and shirt swapping. https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/kitchen/shieldspray Best regards, Tanya

I just bought a house with this faucet. I think it may be hooked up backwards. Which way is HOT, up vertical or down horizontal?

Asked by: Mike
Thank you for your question, Mike! The handle pulls out away from the spout to turn on the water. When moved forward to a horizontal position it will provide hot water while moving the handle backwards to a vertical position will provide colder water. This is a different operation from models with a handle at a 45 degree angle as they use a specific cartridge. Best regards, Edward
