Thank you for your question. The aerator can be removed using the included wrench tool. Please see page 36 of the instructions for reference:
There is also a debris screen in the top of the solenoid assembly. To access it, turn off the water supply, remove the clip from the top of the solenoid, then pull down on the solenoid to remove it. If your unit was manufactured prior to January 2015, the screen can be removed from the solenoid using needle-nose pliers to remove the screen. If your unit was manufactured after January 2015, the screen does not come out.
