Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bring back the Older Model Please We do not like the new splash guard feature - it creates splashing - love our older model better...that's the only reason we give it 3 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like all the features. I bought this a couple of months ago to go with my complete kitchen makeover. Great investment and just what we needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just a few tweaks would make this five stars I chose this faucet partly because it felt more solid than competing brands around the same price point. The faucet is good, but it could be great with two minor alterations to the design. 1) The donut weight that comes with the faucet (for retracting the pull-out spout) is too light. It makes the return movement flimsy and sometimes incomplete, despite the magnetic feature. We replaced it with the heavier weight from my previous faucet, and that fixed the problem. 2) The reach of this faucet is 1" more than my previous faucet. That earlier faucet with the shorter reach was delightful, because it was noticeably easier to get pots and pans into and out of the sink. There's less maneuvering around the faucet. I almost bought a competing brand because of this, but in the end, I went for the Delta faucet on my plumber's recommendation, because it's manufactured nearby and easier to deal with in case of repairs.

Help! Just installed my new faucet yesterday and the Spray Shield feature does not work. There's a very small "shield" toward the top of the stream and below, just a trickle.

Asked by: crystalw
Hi, crystalw! Thank you for your question. When using the ShieldSpray feature, please be sure to pull down the wand and place the dish in the center of the bubble area. This should reduce splashing by an average of 90% when compared to a standard spray setting. For more information about this feature, please visit the link below. https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/kitchen/shieldspray Best Regards, Rosanna

I bought one about two years ago.  Now, when I turn it off, it is very sensitive to being 'completely off', and often either drips or trickles.  We like the faucet, but not the fact that it doesn't always completely shut off.  Please help.

Asked by: TedM
Hi, TedM! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. There is a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Unscrew the bonnet nut, pull the cartridge out, and clean the bottom puck of the cartridge to remove any debris. Reinstall the cartridge. Retighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the faucet still leaks, we recommend to replace both the valve cartridge assembly, RP50587, and the bonnet nut, RP51503. Best Regards, Rosanna

I have flowtite valves with crimped on supply lines, with a 1/2 FIP connection. Is there an adapter that will fit the integrated supply lines om this faucet, which are 3/8 compression?

Asked by: Justin
Thank you for your inquiry, Justin! The Delta Savile Pull-Down Kitchen 19949-SSSD-DST faucet comes with the RP63263 Adapters that should work for your installation. These adapters will allow you to connect the 3/8" compression fittings to 1/2" 20 UN or 1/2" 14 NPSM. Best regards, Tanya

Hello Timothy Mosley, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Savile Pull-Down Kitchen 19949-SSSD-DST faucet has a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to first tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the button and set screw from the handle. Tighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the faucet still leaks, we recommend to replacing the valve cartridge assembly RP50587. Can the handle on the 19949-DST be moved to the center, or must it be to the side? If it can be moved, is this easy, or will I need a plumber?

Asked by: Donald
Hi Donald, Thank you for your question. The handle is designed to be installed on the right. It is possible to install the handle in the front, however the handle will operate differently. It also maybe a challenge with not getting wet, when adjusting the temperature or turning the faucet on and off. Installing the handle in the front, may also affect the supply line connection and mounting of the faucet. This is not recommended. Best regards, Tanya

Hi, Eze828! Thank you for your question. The sprayer assembly for the 19949-SSSD-DST faucet would need to be replaced since there are not replaceable parts for the sprayer. The sprayer assembly for this faucet is RP60978SS. Here is a link to the part on our website: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP60978SS Best Regards, Rosanna
