Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just a few tweaks would make this five stars I chose this faucet partly because it felt more solid than competing brands around the same price point. The faucet is good, but it could be great with two minor alterations to the design. 1) The donut weight that comes with the faucet (for retracting the pull-out spout) is too light. It makes the return movement flimsy and sometimes incomplete, despite the magnetic feature. We replaced it with the heavier weight from my previous faucet, and that fixed the problem. 2) The reach of this faucet is 1" more than my previous faucet. That earlier faucet with the shorter reach was delightful, because it was noticeably easier to get pots and pans into and out of the sink. There's less maneuvering around the faucet. I almost bought a competing brand because of this, but in the end, I went for the Delta faucet on my plumber's recommendation, because it's manufactured nearby and easier to deal with in case of repairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from outstanding product! My wife (Connie) wanted to upgrade our faucet to a more stylish one; but me being a man thought that's crazy. Boy was I wrong. I love this faucet, it is so convenient. Wish I had bought it sooner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sprung a leak..!! Bought this faucet for our new home and it has been installed less than 18 months. Much to my dismay, I noticed a spot on our finished basement ceiling. Checked under the kitchen sink and was shocked to see a leak in the hose that supplies the pull down spray assembly. The leak is in the hose itself and not a connection. Not what I expected when we chose Delta over other brands. Not only do I have a premature plumbing repair on my hands, but I now have a blemish on the basement ceiling that I am not at all happy about. A cheap hose has cost me dearly. Steer clear..!!

I have had this Faucet for some years now and the Handel is loose and will not shut off the water all they way , I have the replacement seal and parts but need the info on how to do this , can yo7 send me the schematics so I can repair myself  Thank you

Asked by: Timothy Mosley
Hello Timothy Mosley, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Savile Pull-Down Kitchen 19949-SSSD-DST faucet has a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to first tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the button and set screw from the handle. Tighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the faucet still leaks, we recommend to replacing the valve cartridge assembly RP50587. I have included the "How To Video" link below, for replacing the valve cartridge assembly. https://www.deltafaucet.com/video-gallery/video-page-1?videoId=1KMlxNiWni8 Best regards, Tanya

Can the handle on the 19949-DST be moved to the center, or must it be to the side? If it can be moved, is this easy, or will I need a plumber?

Asked by: Donald
Hi Donald, Thank you for your question. The handle is designed to be installed on the right. It is possible to install the handle in the front, however the handle will operate differently. It also maybe a challenge with not getting wet, when adjusting the temperature or turning the faucet on and off. Installing the handle in the front, may also affect the supply line connection and mounting of the faucet. This is not recommended. Best regards, Tanya

Hi, mgp7769! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. There is a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Tighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. I toke apart the head part because too hard to  Switch the spryer, I did soak in vinegar first (not working),,small O ring causing the problem, any way to get just the ring? Or whole part?

Asked by: Eze828
Hi, Eze828! Thank you for your question. The sprayer assembly for the 19949-SSSD-DST faucet would need to be replaced since there are not replaceable parts for the sprayer. The sprayer assembly for this faucet is RP60978SS. Here is a link to the part on our website: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP60978SS Best Regards, Rosanna
