Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pull down head clogged w/sediment Cannot find instructions on how to clear a clogged head. Does not appear to be easily disassembled for cleaning as a normal faucet aerator would. It takes a special wrench on the output side, but no access on the input side which is where it seems to be clogged. Otherwise, It's been a great faucet, but the inability to not be able to clean it is a big NO.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good I have had this installed for a couple of weeks and so far we have been happy with it. I will say I was surprised that the water lines were not no burst lines but more of a plastic line that is harder to flex under sink. Even the old builders grade Moen I replaced had the better flex lines .

Can I order the valve body with the 3 hoses sticking out of the bottom?

Asked by: Zach
Hi, Zach! Thank you for your question. The valve body for the Delta 19957Z-RBSD-DST faucet is not a replaceable part on it's own. If this part is needed, the whole faucet would need to be replaced. Best Regards, Rosanna

Is up supposed to be cold?  For our previous delta faucet, forward was cold and back was hot. After the plumbers installed our new faucet, forward is hot. Back, which now stops in the up position, is cold. It’s backwards from what we’re used to.

Asked by: Lalkjl
Hello Lalkjl, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Valdosta Kitchen 19957Z-RBSD-DST faucet is designed so that the water should be cold when the handle is in the upright position and hot when rotated forward. Best regards, Tanya

We live in an area where calcium crystals builds up in the spray area. Can the the sprayer be taken apart to clean out these crystals?

Asked by: Tom H
Hello, Tom! Thank you for your question. The aerator can be removed for cleaning, and the Touch-Clean spray holes can be cleaned with a wipe of your finger. You can also remove the wand assembly from the hose to check for debris or to soak the wand in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution. Best regards, Jon

Is this a less quality delta faucet because it is only found at Lowes?

Is this a less quality delta faucet because it is only available at Lowes?
Asked by: John
I was told plumbing supply stores carry the same models as Lowes, but the the insides are made with higher quality parts (metal vs. plastic). That's why Lowes can sell for cheaper. is this correct?

Asked by: LAW1
Thank you for your question, LAW1! The soap dispenser featured with this model is available for order separately as model number RP50781. Be sure to add the finish code to match your existing faucet. For example SP for Spotshield Stainless Steel. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP50781 Best regards, Edward

Once the spray is selected does it only turn off at the handle, or can I switch between spray and full water stream with the button on the pull out? Also, is the pull out metal or plastic? Thanks.

Asked by: Heidi
Hello Heidi, Thank you for your question. The wand will remain on either spray or stream when you turn it back on depending on which mode was in use when you turned the faucet off. However, you would need to hold the ShieldSpray button for this feature. The sprayer/wand assembly of the Delta Valdosta Pull-Down Kitchen 19957Z-CZSD-DST faucet is non-metallic. Best regards, Tanya
