I have this model (19978-SSSD-DST) and I'm trying to fix a leak. Which spring/seat should I use? I'm currently looking at the RP4993 and the RP77737. Are either one of these correct? Thanks.
Thank you for your question, cb56! The Leland model 19978-SSSD-DST uses a valve assembly cartridge, not the RP4993 seats and springs. You will need to confirm if you have the DST or Non-DST version of this model first. Please contact us directly if you need further assistance.
Best regards, Edward

Had this faucet installed recently & really like the design and the features. One question -- can the sprayer head/aerator be removed, as on a traditional faucet, to reveal the threaded end of the spout? Need to change fishies water.
Thank you for your question. Yes, the aerator in the end of the wand/sprayer assembly of the Delta Leland Kitchen Pull-Down 19978-SSSD-DST faucet can be removed by using the wrench (RP50815), that comes with the faucet.

I have the Delta 19978- DST and remodeling to a granite counter undercount sink.
I want to remove the escutcheon plate and just install the faucet directly to the granite. Do I need to purchase an o ring or anything to make the faucet stable if not using that plate?
Hi Tami, Thank you for your question. The model 19978-SSSD-DST would have come with a single hole and a 3 hole escutcheon. If you are no longer going to use the 3 hole escutcheon/plate you will need the single hole escutcheon RP52610SS . Here is a link to the parts diagram for your faucet.

I Need A Part
My new faucet has three holes in the escutcheon plate but I only need the center and left ones for the faucet and soap dispenser respectively. I need a plug or cap to put over the hole on the right, which is open all the way down into the cabinet below the sink.
I didn't see any references in my user guide nor did I when looking at your online inventory. Can you please help me find a solution ?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet does not manufacture hole covers for your faucet. They may be purchased and ordered at your local wholesaler or retailer.

Material of soap dispenser
Can you tell me if the soap dispenser that comes with the faucet is made out of a metal or a plastic? I'm only concerned with the part that shows above the counter.
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 19978-SSSD-DST has a soap dispenser that is non-metallic.

Material of pull-down hose?
Is the outside of the covering of the pull-down hose braided stainless steel, or nylon or something else? Is the pull-down hose part of the Life-time Warranty? If not Stainless Steel, which Delta products have the stainless steel braided hose?
Hi Numberkruncher, Thank you for your question. The RP50390 hose for the model 19978-SSSD-DST faucet is made of braided polymer over an Ultracore liner. The hose is covered as part of our warranty. We do not currently offer any faucets with stainless steel braided hoses.

Looking a drain and strainer for this faucet in stainless steel. Opening on the sink is 3.5".
Hi D, Thank you for your question. The model 72010-SS is the kitchen sink flange and strainer that will match the model 1978-SSSD-DST faucet. The flange and strainer is made to install into a 3.5" sink opening.

Can the handle be mounted on the left?
Thank you for your question. The 19978-SSSD-DST can be mounted with the handle on the left. However, keep in mind that the handle operation will be opposite.
