Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I installed this 2 months ago with an old used cast iron sink. It was easy and works great and shines so much we have been referring to it as Excaliber! With other Delta faucets in our house, I was glad to have standardized replacement springs & cups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them We built a new home in 2004 with these faucets. I love them. They don't rust or corrode. My sprayer is metal so it must have changed over the years. We have had these for 14 years with no major problems. When there is a problem Delta fixes it. The finish is beautiful. I love the flush mount that doesn't require a metal surround. We did get the kitchen faucet upper replaced. I hung a wet dishrag on it and it ruined the finish. Delta sent me a new one , no questions asked. Now I just hang the rage over the sink divider. I especially love the warranty. I can't understand everyone being upset that they eventually leak. We have hard water and even the water softener can't get all the minerals out. Our faucets leak. Delta ships out the new parts free! DH puts them in. NOT HARD! I can't imagine expecting to not have leaking faucets. They do olast longer if you don't slam them off. Be gentle. As I said. 14 years and still in style and work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Kitchen Faucet and fantastic warranty I have had this faucet for 10 years. Still looks great and when the sprayer and spout did not live up to my expectation it was easily replaced by calling the friendly customer service reps. A bit more up front but you get a lifetime warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be gentle with it This is a beautiful faucet, it's heavy and looks well constructed, but don't try yanking on the handles or spout. The valves don't require hard cranking to shut off, gently push them until they stop, they close easily and tightly. Haven't had any issues with leaks. Docking a star because the sprayer is made of plastic. For the price I expected better. The spout wiggles slightly in the vertical direction but no big deal there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hot water leaking I love the look of this faucet and selected the same faucet for both my kitchen and bath since I have a 165 year old Victorian home. But now I cannot turn off the hot water all the way so it just drips, well really runs continuously. I paid top dollar for this faucet expecting it to last. Not sure if it can be fixed but too expensive to replace or call a plumber to find out!!!
Date published: 2017-12-02
Rated 2 out of 5 by from the SPRAYER IS PLASTIC!! It looks ok from the pictures and i guess the fixtures are metal but they sure are not brass. The spray nozzle looks like it would go on a Barbie sink. A cheap plastic white hose and the handle is completely plastic!@

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much improvement from our old one. Great Design! We Love It!! Mel and Sharon Stylish and the faucet stands out in our new kitchen!

Hot line not marked how do we tell which one it is

Asked by: Questionrehot
Hello Questionrehot, Thank you for question. I'm sorry for the confusion of inconvenience this may have caused as the Pex supply line is intended to have a sticker marking the hot side attached. The handles will work by turning or pulling the lever towards you, so the hot side valve will be placed the on the left hand side of the spout, provided this is how the handle will move when on this side. Please feel free to contact us directly if you need further assistance with this model. Best regards, Tanya

We got the faucet installed, but how does the spray part attach, is there a special attachment that we needed to order or was there something that was suppose to come with it.

cold water Fawcett leaking/dripping. can you provide repair instructions?

Asked by: dumbone123
Hi, dumbone123. Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. If the Delta 2256-DST faucet is leaking/dripping, we do recommend to replace the valve cartridge assembly. This part number is RP60400. To replace these parts, first turn the water off at your shut off valves. Remove the handles with a 1/8" allen wrench. Unscrew the bonnet nuts counterclockwise. Pull the cartridges straight out. Reinstall new cartridges. If this does not fix the issue, please contact us back. Best Regards, Rosanna

how do i replace the diverter on my delta tow handle victorian faucet

I called and received a new diverter from delta. I can't figure out how to get at the diverter
Asked by: Dave
Hi Dave, Thank you for your question. The model 2256 has the diverter placed underneath the hub of the spout assembly. Grasp the base of the spout near the sink and unscrew the assembly. Lift up and pull the entire assembly off once unscrewed from the base. The diverter will be visible in the valve body to unscrew and replace. I have attached the link to the manual for this model which shows the parts breakdown. Is it available with cross bar handles? The center of the hole for cold water is only 2 1/2 inches from the center of the hole for the sprayer on my sink. The handles shown would stick out too far.

Asked by: Emmjay
Thank you for your question, Emmjay! Many Delta handles such as the H295 or H26 should work in place of the Victorian handles however the Technical Specification Sheet for this model does indicate a recommended minimum of a 2 1/2" (64 mm) gap between the handles and the spout so there should not be an issue with with this installation. Please contact us directly if you have further questions or need assistance. https://www.deltafaucet.com/product-comparison?modelNumber=H295&modelNumber=H26 Best regards, Edward

Can the Victorian 2256 be installed without the faucet base?

With the faucet base installed, I am unable to swivel the faucet because it cannot clear my window casing. If I can install the faucet without the base, the faucet will sit flush to the countertop and it will clear the window casing. Thank you.
Asked by: Carolyn
Hi Carolyn, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend that you install the model 256-DST without the base. This is the part that creates a seal under the spout assembly and prevents water from leaking under the faucet. Thanks, Dave

The installation paper for the Delta Victorian 2256-SS-DST shows using silicone grease but doesn't give an explanation of where all it should be applied. Which surfaces does Delta suggest applying the silicone grease to?
