Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty, but I love the way this faucet looks in my kitchen and it is of fine integrity. The sprayer, however, is very cheap and wobbly. It is not as nice as the faucet and the handles. Also, the left handles on my assembly comes loose with use and has to be tightened regularly. It is annoying to spend a good sum for rather cheaply made products. Come on Delta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from yes totally worth the money I love this faucet. Exceptionally beautiful, even prettier than the picture. The faucet is well made and moves smoothly. The finish holds up well against our hard water and that is impressive. This faucet is totally worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta Pilar faucet This faucet was specifically chosen because it had a separate hot and cold water handle. It was installed in a kosher kitchen where the client specified two handles to make it easier for the Sabbath when hot water is not used. The faucet fulfilled this requirement while still fitting into the design scheme as a contemporary styled faucet. My client was extremely pleased with our choice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Splashes too much I have this faucet since January. Initially I liked the tall faucet and that it moved a lot from side to side. But this faucet splashes too much. Whenever I put anything under the flow, whether a high flow or low, the counter around the sink gets all wet. I'm pretty annoyed by it already.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A couple of things The spout seems loose like it needs a gasket in the space between the base and the spout. The spout can wobble, even though the base is tight to the sink. The other thing is the water pressure is not as strong as with the previous faucet. Is there a flow restrictor in the spout?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look I have used my new faucet for two weeks now. Love how it all works with ease. It is so easy to keep clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible faucet Terrible faucet. Hose connections can be a serious problem and cause the faucet not to stay in position when moved from one sink to another. I have a corner sink and when moving the faucet to the other side of the sink, the faucet just moves back to nearly its original position. Delta's solution was to unplug all hose connections and then plug them in again. This may have helped a little. Paid about $400 or so for it, so must keep it and put up with the problem. Just have to be patient when moving the faucet, sometimes when using a lot of hot water, the problem of moving is not as bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied! We put this faucet in ourselves a week ago and so far are extremely happy with it. The handles turn very easily, so it's very easy to control how much hot and cold water come out. The faucet turns easily, too, so it's easy to get it to flow to any part of the sink. Our last Delta faucet was a single handle and difficult/tricky to control the hot-cold mix and strength of flow. The faucet itself didn't turn as far or as easily as this one. That might have been because there was a pull-down hose in it, but while that was convenient, the faucet took more effort to turn and to control the mix. We went back to the two-handle faucet style also partly because we wanted a way to turn the water on and off and control the flow with our wrists or elbows when our hands are sticky or have food on them. These handles work great for all of that. The height of the faucet makes the sink much roomier -- leaves more space to manipulate large pots and trays. If there are any negative issues that come up later, we'll report them in a review, but right now we're very happy with the function and design.

Is there a model-appropriate plug to fill a hole in my countertop?

I hope to replace a 5-hole system that includes a spigot, two handles, a sprayer and a soap dispenser with the Pilar 4-hole system. Does Delta make a cover I can place in the fifth hole now drilled in my countertop? Or does Delta make a soap dispenser that aesthetically resembles the Pilar 2480 in Arctic Stainless?
Asked by: Mark
Hi Mark, Thank you for your question! We do manufacture a hole cover but not in the Arctic Stainless finish. The closest match would be the Brushed Nickel or Stainless Steel. The part number for the hole covers is RP52397BN and RP52397SS. We also manufacture a few Arctic Stainless soap dispensers. Below is a link to the soap dispensers: http://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/accessories/filter-results.html?finish=ar&sort=pricehighlow&type=type-kitacc-soapdispenser&function=kitchen-accessories Best regards, Brandis

Is it possible to install this faucet without the sprayer?

I want this faucet but not a sprayer, and I don't want to have to install the sprayer and just leave it under the sink to get the look I want. Is it possible to install this and not use the sprayer at all?
Asked by: William
Hello William, Thanks for your question. You can use RP54269 to cap off the side sprayer connection.

What is the recommended spacing for the distance in between components of this faucet set? IE, handles to the faucet, to the sprayer.

I have to give the measurements to the granite manufacturer who is also installing the sink. It's described by Delta as "4-hole 6-16" installation". Is 6" the minimum recommended spacing between the trim components, IE, handle to spout to handle to sprayer? Thank you, Daryl
Asked by: Daryl
Dear Daryl, Thank you for your question. The Delta Pilar Kitchen 2480-AR-DST faucet is a 4-hole 6-16" installation. This measures from center of one handle to the center of the other. Please see Technical Specifications document below. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-2480-DST%20Rev%20D.pdf Best regards, Tanya

I am interested in the Delta Pilar Waterfall Arctic Stainless 2-Handle High-Arc Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray

Model #2480-AR-DST Delta Pilar Waterfall Arctic Stainless 2-Handle High-Arc Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray. I would like to know if the side sprayer is metal or plastic? Thanks.
Asked by: Kathryne
I believe is it plastic with the Arctic finish on top. I don't work for Delta but I do own one. It is a nice design and the sprayer does work well

What stainless alloy is used in the stainless steel version of 2408-DST?

What stainless alloy is used in the stainless steel version of this Pilar faucet, 2480-DST? I have been reading about my new stainless steel sink, which is 304 (18/8) stainless steel and I am wondering if this is the same alloy, with its sensitivity to the chloride ion. I installed my faucet a few weeks ago and am quite pleased with it.
Asked by: DanVA
Dear DanVA, Thank you for your inquiry! Our Arctic Stainless finish is similar to a brushed soft satin finish. The faucet is not actually made of Stainless Steel. The spout, handles, and valve assemblies on the model 2480-DST are made of brass. Best regards, Tanya

What is the spray angle? Will it spray far enough to reach a two bowl (offset) sink?

Asked by: lamahan
Hi lamahan, Thank you for your question. The end of the spout extends 10 1/2" from the center of the spout base. The water should flow straight down from the aerator. Best regards, Jon
