Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet in venetian brass A lovely addition to the oversize sink in our master bath

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just ok Faucet looks nice. Wanted something streamlined and not too tall. The pressure fit handle is a bummer. You really have to push hard to get it back in all the way. Usually it's not all the way seated which works but doesn't look nice. The handle to turn it on and off is very fussy and if you don't push it in just right it doesn't shut off. It's not a huge deal but annoying enough to make me dislike this particular design. It runs really hot or cold, the adjustment for warm is so narrow that I cant get warm unless I'm very careful to adjust it. I don't know why 99% of the positioning is burning hot or cold and 1% is warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks and works great. Just installed about 2 weeks ago, installation with a composite sink is a little tricky, needed to get some spacers to shim up the bracket on the bottom to match the height of the sink, would be nice if Delta could put some spacers in the box for this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Constantly dripping I cannot get this faucet to stop dripping. Tried tightening the set screw, took the nozzle off and replaced o-ring, no luck. Really like the look and functionality but afraid to see my water bill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but for the problem that's developed I purchased this faucet three months ago and had installed by my plumber. The lines are clean and functioned well until a few weeks ago when developed a problem. It doesn't always shut off completely - ranges from a drip to a stream. The leak can be corrected by adjusting the lever, or turning back on and shutting off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful addition! We've been using our new faucet for about a month and we couldn't be happier with it. We chose this model for the lower profile and find it plenty high to fill pots. The finish is very nice and water spots don't have a chance to appear by simply wiping the faucet with a towel when it gets wet. It always looks perfect!

Is the Arctic Stainless a brushed nickel finish?

Asked by: Lovey33002
Thank you for your question, Lovey33002! The Delta Arctic Stainless Steel is a cooler-toned version of our Stainless Steel which is often compared to our Brushed Nickel finish. Best regards, Edward

Can you toggle between spray and stream, or do you have to hold the button down for spray?

Asked by: Sandy
Thanks for your question, Sandy! The stream and spray setting are controlled by a toggle switch, so you won't need to hold it down. Best regards, Jon

Delta 4153-AR-DST kitchen faucet

I need to replace set screw. I can’t figure how to get the handle in the correct position. Can you help me?
Asked by: Linda67
Thank you for your question, Linda. We would be happy to help. First, slide the handle onto the stem of the cartridge and ensure that the set screw hole is facing the faucet. The set screw should meet the flat part of the stem. Next, move the handle to the on position to provide more room, then tighten the set screw with a 1/8" Allen wrench. Please refer to the Installation Instructions for a diagram. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/80328%20Rev%20B.pdf Best regards, Jon

It's difficult to completely shut off the faucet (home is 2-1/2 years old). Seems like a new washer is needed but, we disassembled it and don't see a washer to replace. Should we purchase a replacement valve assembly?

Asked by: Linda
Hi, Linda! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. We recommend to clean the bottom puck on the valve cartridge assembly and retighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Unscrew the bonnet nut. Pull the valve cartridge out and clean the bottom puck on the valve cartridge assembly. Reinstall the valve cartridge assembly and retighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the faucet still leaks, we recommend to replace both the valve cartridge assembly, RP50587, and the bonnet nut, RP51503. Best Regards, Rosanna

If the water is running with on spray, will it remain on spray when the water is turned off and then back on? I have seen other pullout faucets that revert to stream when the water is turned off and then back on.

Asked by: HJanet
Hi, HJanet! Thank you for your question. The sprayer assembly on the 4153-DST faucet, like all of our faucets, stays on the mode that you select when you turn on and off the water. Best Regards, Rosanna

what is the difference between models 4153-AR-DST and 4153-DST? also, I need a pull-down kitchen faucet that is less than 15" maximum height. Suggestions, please.

Asked by: anne38
Thank you for your question, anne38! The model 4153-DST is Chrome and 4153-AR-DST has the Arctic Stainless finish. The top of the spout is 12 5/16" above the deck surface. All of our current pull-out models are under 15" tall. Most pull-down kitchen faucets are just over 15", except for the model Leland model 9178-DST, which is 14 7/8" tall. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/9178-DST Best regards, Jon

Can I use this faucet on top of Formica and mounted off of the sink?

Will the cover plate be sufficient in protecting my countertop from water damage?
Asked by: M.
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 4153-DST has a maximum deck thickness of 2 1/2 inches. The escutcheon plate will protect the sink from water underneath the escutcheon plate.
