Rated 4 out of 5 by from Average Faucet, could be better designed We bought this faucet because it was one with the longest spout reach (but still not nearly enough reach) For a triple sink we needed 11"-12" reach. OR at the lease a swivel aerator. The handle and sprayer are too close together. It's a tight design for an 8" centre deck. We didn't put the sprayer opposite (left of faucet) because that's were we installed our soap dispenser. Otherwise, it's an average faucet which looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in my kitchen, the faucet performs in all ways that i like. I like the finish, no touch feature. Strong construction. gives me the reach i need. plenty of water flow. no obstructions in water flow. Easy to clean and repair. easy to install good connections on the water supply. design is over and and above what you need in a kitchen sink faucet. Quality is always a factor in a sink faucet, this one has it all the way in my book. Easy to use no matter what i want to do in the kitchen

The Cassidy pull down hose is 62" and the side sprayer is 48", are these both measured from the normal resting position?

I am trying to determine if they will both satisfy my needs or if I have to get the pull down. I really want the side spray type. I am trying to determine the reach of the hose.
Asked by: Sherry
Thank you for your question Sherry. I apologize for any confusion, however the hoses are measured in total length. Best regards, Edward

Can I attach a Brita or Pur faucet filter to this kitchen faucet

I have always attached a Brita or Pur filter to the end of my kitchen faucet. Can I do that with the Cassidy Single Handle Kitchen Faucet?
Asked by: Carol
Dear Carol, Thank you for your inquiry! The aerator used on the Delta Cassidy Kitchen Pull-Down 4297-DST faucet has 13/16" threads size. Unfortunately we do not offer an adapter that will adapt/convert this faucet for use with Pur or Brita filter. We would recommend contacting the filter makers, for possible adapter or parts for the connecting the filter. Best regards, Tanya

How is the sprayer hose removed?

There is a diverter clip that is locked into place when installing the sprayer? What is the procedure for removal?
Asked by: fred
Dear Fred, Thank you for your question. To install the Vegetable/Side Sprayer to your Cassidy Kitchen 4297-DST faucet, you first pull the diverter clip outward until loose; but, do not completely remove it. Next, remove the diverter plug from the hose assembly and discard if installing a side spray. Now keeping the diverter clip pulled out, insert spray hose nipple into housing assembly. Make sure the hose nipple is completely inserted and then push diverter clip in until it locks the hose nipple into place. Pull down moderately to ensure connection has been made. Please review the below link, page 5 module 2 "Side Sprayer Installation" for diagram and directions. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/73951%20Rev%20E.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Which way for hot and cold?

We had our new Cassidy installed and the Hot is on when we pull the lever forward/down towards us and the Cold is on when the lever is pushed straight back/straight up. This feels backwards to us. All other faucets we have ever had, including other Delta ones, have the cold being forward and hot being back. Please help, is this correct or was it installed incorrectly?
Asked by: House6
Hi House6, Thank you for your question! The faucet is designed to dispense cold water when the handle is in the upright position, and hot when it is forward. Best regards, Jon
