Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy Not a faucet I would recommend and now I know why it's discontinued

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sporadic performance, battery life is very short. We had this faucet installed a year ago when we updated our kitchen. It was a mistake. It goes through batteries every 2-3 months. The faucet shuts off on its own when in use. The touch feature is unreliable. The worst feature about it is that when the batteries are low it shuts off entirely until new batteries are installed. You cannot use it as completely manual like a normal faucet when the batteries are dead.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Soleniod Issues Bought this when I was remodeling my kitchen in May this year. The faucet worked great until December when the solenoid failed. Of course you can't buy the part from Delta and since I didn't register the product, I'm stuck buying a new on from Amazon. I really liked the faucet and the convenience of the touch activation. I'm just really disappointed I have to replace the solenoid after only 7 months and have to use this really expensive faucet in a bypass mode.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I ordered this based on a recommendation of my friend. It's so nice to touch any part any on or off it goes. Just perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Touch feature does not work anymore Purchased a few years ago, it worked fine. Now even with the lever in the on position the water stops flowing without touching anything. Then it starts flowing by itself and turning off by itself. My wife wants me to replace it but I would like to keep it because when it works right it is great. Any ideas???

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sprayer I bought this from Lowe's and the sprayer is terrible. When the faucet is turned off the excess water drip out of this sprayer and makes a mess. Need to furnish a better sprayer with set.

Is this faucet compatible with a Pur water filter?
Asked by: Dom
Hi Dom, Thank you for your question. You may use a filter on the spout, with the correct adapter. Unfortunately, we do not make an adapter for this unit. The spout has a thread size of M24x1. Best regards, Jon

Hi AmonRa10, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 4380T-DST has an aerator wrench included in the box for removal and cleaning. If this has been misplaced, it can be ordered and purchased through your local retailer with model number RP46245. Thanks. Jody

Is there much difference between arctic stainless and brilliance stainless?

Asked by: Colleen
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet Artic Stainless finish more closely resembles the stainless steel appliances that are out in today's market. It has a bluish tint. Delta Faucet Stainless Steel finish has a more gold tint and is now mainly used in the bathroom fixtures.

Is there another aerator available?

The standard aerator that comes with the unit causes the water to splash all over when you put something under it. I understand how to clean it and that does not help.
Asked by: Bruce
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model 4380T-DST will flow at 1.8 gpm at 60 psi. We do have aerators available with lower flow that may help with splashing. Delta Faucet model # RP60983 flows at 1.5 gpm; model RP63886 flows at 1.0 gpm. We also manufacture model RP60729 which flows at .5 gpm.

How can I increase flow on the 4380T-DST?

I just installed the 4380T-DST. My house has plenty of pressure and flow and the stream out the tap is nice a straight but the gpm is rather low. I'm assuming the strainer is limiting gpm. Is there any way to increase the flow?
Asked by: bigmoe
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 4380-DST flows at 2.2 gpm. This is highest flow allowable by codes. If your faucet is not flowing at 2.2 gpm, there may be debris in the line or in the aerator. We recommend removing the aerator and flushing the lines. You may also soak your aerator in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and cold water overnight to remove any mineral deposits.
