I cannot remove the bonnet nut on my Delta classic 400-DST
I can remove the cap but not the bonnet nut. I put some penitrating oil on it but even with an 18" handle wrench, I cannot get it to turn. I'm afraid I'll twist the whole faucet out of the sink. Any advice for getting this nut off? Faucet drips and has to be shut off multiple times before it actually shuts off. Also, are these parts covered under warranty?
Thank you for your question. The bonnet can be removed by using an adjustable wrench. Here is a link to show you the removal on our how-to video.

Is there anything that can be done to increase the water flow on this model? I did not realize this was a water efficient model. The water doesn't even dissolve the dishwasher detergent in the pans. I end up using the sprayer.
Thank you for your question, Manny! Model 440-WE-DST is designed to produce approximately 1.5 gpm @ 60 psi. If you are not getting this flow rate, you may need to flush the unit by removing the aerator and turning the water on to a full mixed position for more than a minute. The RP18508 aerator can also be ordered and used instead. This provides about 2.2gpm at 60psi.
Best regards, Edward
