Can I Install a Soap Dispenser with Delta 440-WH-DST
I have a four-hole white kitchen sink. Can I install a soap dispenser with Delta 4040-WH-DST? How? The photo seems o show a plate over three holes, and the fourth hole seems to accommodate the sprayer.
Also, is this a high-arc faucet? Is it a good replacement for my current faucet, Model 174?
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. The model 440-WH-DST is a 4 hole installation faucet. To install a soap dispenser with this model you would need to have a fifth hole. We offer the 441-WH-DST that is the same Collins faucet without the base plate. With this 2 hole faucet you would be able to add a soap dispenser.
The model 440-WH-DST would not be considered a hi-arc faucet. The height to the faucet aerator is 5-7/32" compared to the 8-1/4" on your model 174.

I own this. can I buy a longer spout and install myself?
Hi John, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the spout on your model 440-WH-DST cannot be changed out due to the way that it is designed.

Can the pex supply tubes be cut and shortened by sliding the ferrill higher up further on the tube ?
Dear Juan Roberto,
Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the PEX supply lines of the Delta Collins Kitchen 440-DST faucet can be cut to fit your installation, using the provided clear plastic sleeves (RP51243). Please see page 9 of the below Maintenance/Installation document.
