Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would not recommend We would like this faucet quite a bit except for some issues we're having with it. The button that controls the spray vs non-spray does not work well. And we're having a problem with black specks in the water. A plumber just told us that we need to clean out the faucet head, but he said we needed a special tool to remove the aerator to achieve this. This unit did not come with a special tool for removing the aerator and there's nothing in the manual about it. Reading some other reviews, it looks like perhaps our aerator can not be removed. He was unable to fully clean out the faucet head without being able to remove it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great kitchen sink faucet. It came with a dish soap dispenser. This faucet has a nice finish and matched my stainless steel sink. It came with a liquid dish washing dispenser. The instructions for installing were clear enough that my college son installed it. Delta has bee a great company and we like their products. They have a large variety of products to suit everyone's need.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wand Button is Terrible We have had this faucet just over 6 years. It worked great for the first couple of years. The past 2 years the button on the wand stopped being easy to switch. Some days I really hurt my finger switching from sprayer to normal flow. Get one without this option! Otherwise it was great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faucet faiks and leaks quickly This faucet was installed no more than a year ago. It leaks constantly and while trying to repair it the part that connects the handle to the lines broke by simply pushing in the button. They sell parts for it but I guarantee that it will totally break before you repair the leak. Believe the reviews this one is not worth the hassle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A poorly designed Delta I've had this faucet for awhile. It's sold only at Home Depot, and is currently priced at $129. I was attracted to it's sleek looks and stainless finish. However, be forewarned, this faucet is poorly designed...other reviews have cited the same characteristic. Maybe it's because this Home Depot version is supposed to be cheap, but despite what seems to be every other Delta faucet, this one does not have a removable aerator. The plastic screen top on my aerator broke off and was swept down the drain. I wasn't worried as I just assumed I'd just easily replace it. After all even my research recommended replacing it...there is a Q&A from Boba in July 2015 asking how to clean the aerator on this model. An "expert" Delta staff member that goes by DeltaFaucet2 recommends just replacing it and gives part number RP76076 (pic attached). Well, after trying to unscrew my topless aerator for 30 minutes, I realized there are no threads to hold the replacement I purchased...leaving me dismayed and now with a damaged wand that has no aerator at all. The worse part is that a replacement wand costs more than a new faucet at $140. I'm very disappointed. I think it's time to change my loyalty.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design I installed this faucet about 7 years ago. The first thing that began happening was the faucet became hard to swivel. The about 6 months ago the faucet began leaking when shut off. Now I know the valve can be replaced, and I would have done that except yesterday the hose, where it attaches to the spray wand broke. The hose looks, at first glance,to beery sturdy. Upon closer inspection, the point where the hose attaches to the sprayer is actually plastic. This is the point that cracked. I looked up parts on here. To replace the wand, hose and valve the cost comes to $219.80! I certainly thought Delta was better than this. Very disappointed.

What is the pull-out spout? Is that the same as the wand?

The parts list only mentions a wand and a hub not a spout. I'm considering buying this model.
Asked by: Pattie
Hi Pattie, Thank you for your question! The pull out spout is referred to as a pull out wand. Best regards, Brandis

Do you have to hold the button down to use the spray function?

Can you just click it and use the spray nozzle, or do you have to hold the button down all the time for spraying?
Asked by: Emmeria
It is not necessary to hold the button when spraying. Just click on it and spray.

Can this be installed in a one hole sink?

I'm upgrading my kitchen and installing granite and 1 hole under mount sink. Can this faucet be used with a 1 hole mount without the Escutcheon, gasket & baseplate?
Asked by: joe
Yes, if you do not intend to use the soap dispenser, which requires a separate hole. In our case, we had just one hole and that was a factor in our choice of the Cicero model.

How do you fill the soap dispenser on faucet mdl 468-SD-DST?

Newly purchased.
Asked by: Ace
Hi Ace, Thank you for your question! To fill the soap dispenser, lift off the head assembly and pull out the pump, then use a funnel to pour the soap into the bottle. Please be sure to leave a vent for the air to escape around the funnel as you are filling the bottle. Thanks, Jon

How do you clean the aerator?

I have the Delta Cicero 468 faucet which is great - except... how do you clean the aerator? I have been to Home Depot - no tool, no replacements. I have been on Delta's site - no tool, no replacements. My great faucet will become formerly great if I can't clean the aerator and restore flow... how do you clean the aerator?
Asked by: boba
Hi Bob, Thank you for your question. The RP52217 aerator wrench will remove the aerator from the wand assembly that comes with the model 468-SSSD-DST faucet. The aerator replacement and wrench is available to order as RP76076. You can soak the aerator in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to help break up any mineral build up and clean the aerator. Thanks, Dave
