Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I bought this three years ago. Since then I've had to replace the nozzle because the switch wouldn't work properly. Now I have a problem with the faucet leaking. The lever would need to be moved around to shut off the leak. Good thing there's a lifetime warranty on parts. I just wish it didn't fail sooner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks after a few months. I was excited about my new faucet and thought it looked really good with my newly upgraded kitchen, but it has started to leak really bad and now I'm looking to repair it. I see that others are having the same problem as well and now I have a little buyers remorse for this product when I go to Home Depot and walk past other faucets after having it installed :( I've turned the kitchen water pressure down to try to prevent it leaking sometimes until I repair it. Hopefully after the repair, it will no longer leak other than that, I think it looks very nice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would not recommend We would like this faucet quite a bit except for some issues we're having with it. The button that controls the spray vs non-spray does not work well. And we're having a problem with black specks in the water. A plumber just told us that we need to clean out the faucet head, but he said we needed a special tool to remove the aerator to achieve this. This unit did not come with a special tool for removing the aerator and there's nothing in the manual about it. Reading some other reviews, it looks like perhaps our aerator can not be removed. He was unable to fully clean out the faucet head without being able to remove it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great kitchen sink faucet. It came with a dish soap dispenser. This faucet has a nice finish and matched my stainless steel sink. It came with a liquid dish washing dispenser. The instructions for installing were clear enough that my college son installed it. Delta has bee a great company and we like their products. They have a large variety of products to suit everyone's need.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wand Button is Terrible We have had this faucet just over 6 years. It worked great for the first couple of years. The past 2 years the button on the wand stopped being easy to switch. Some days I really hurt my finger switching from sprayer to normal flow. Get one without this option! Otherwise it was great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faucet faiks and leaks quickly This faucet was installed no more than a year ago. It leaks constantly and while trying to repair it the part that connects the handle to the lines broke by simply pushing in the button. They sell parts for it but I guarantee that it will totally break before you repair the leak. Believe the reviews this one is not worth the hassle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A poorly designed Delta I've had this faucet for awhile. It's sold only at Home Depot, and is currently priced at $129. I was attracted to it's sleek looks and stainless finish. However, be forewarned, this faucet is poorly designed...other reviews have cited the same characteristic. Maybe it's because this Home Depot version is supposed to be cheap, but despite what seems to be every other Delta faucet, this one does not have a removable aerator. The plastic screen top on my aerator broke off and was swept down the drain. I wasn't worried as I just assumed I'd just easily replace it. After all even my research recommended replacing it...there is a Q&A from Boba in July 2015 asking how to clean the aerator on this model. An "expert" Delta staff member that goes by DeltaFaucet2 recommends just replacing it and gives part number RP76076 (pic attached). Well, after trying to unscrew my topless aerator for 30 minutes, I realized there are no threads to hold the replacement I purchased...leaving me dismayed and now with a damaged wand that has no aerator at all. The worse part is that a replacement wand costs more than a new faucet at $140. I'm very disappointed. I think it's time to change my loyalty.

468 SSSD - incorrect replacement valve assembly?

Our 468 SSSD single handle valve set is several years old but continues to work very well. Recently it has begun to drip intermittently with the valve handle 'off', so I researched and bought what I thought was the correct valve replacement (p/n RP50587) to fix this occasional drip. But when I disassembled the valve (according to the directions in the replacement valve packaging), this new replacement valve does not resemble the original 'bad' valve in any manner. The 'old' valve seems to be just a short lever with a polished perforated ball that is sealed against three 'o-rings' in the bottom of the valve seat/receptacle, while the new one resembles a 'cartridge' made of plastic/nylon that seemingly does not seem to fit this existing valve body. Was there an 'earlier model' valve for some 468 SSSD valve sets that might not be illustrated in the parts list? Or did I simply not disassemble the valve sufficiently to the point where it is possible to install this new valve?
Asked by: billzinn
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model 468-SSSD has a ball assembly inside. The part you will need to replace is Delta Faucet part # RP70.

which single handle models come in black and how do I find out when looking at your web site?

Asked by: bob
Hi Bob, Thank you for your question. Two models are available in black. Model 470-BL-DST, and Model 4159-BL-DST. To find them on our web site, click on kitchen, then kitchen faucets. Go to the finishes section and select black and matte black. This will bring up the faucets available in those finishes. Thanks, Dave

Is there matching water filter accessory for this faucet?

Asked by: Ray
Hi Ray. No there isn't, and what is more it that you can't service the aerator. That means that your water flow will reduce over time as sediment collects in the aerator. If you like your tap water flavored with sediment this is your faucet. I hope that helps!

How do you fill the soap dispenser on faucet mdl 468-SD-DST?

Newly purchased.
Asked by: Ace
Hi Ace, Thank you for your question! To fill the soap dispenser, lift off the head assembly and pull out the pump, then use a funnel to pour the soap into the bottle. Please be sure to leave a vent for the air to escape around the funnel as you are filling the bottle. Thanks, Jon

i am trying to remove my old delta which we love but it is leaking, i am having a hard time getting the center nut loose from the copper pipe. please advise

Asked by: Josh
Hello Josh, Thank you for your question. We would recommend using the RP11722 wrench, that came with the faucet, to remove the mounting nut. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP11722 Best regards, Tanya

I'm replacing the cartrage on my 468 sssd DST. Is the cartrage pull out or screw out

Asked by: Kevin
Thank you for your question, Kevin! The DST cartridge simply pulls out of the valve body, however the cap and bonnet nut that holds this cartridge in place, will need to be unscrewed first. Before removing the bonnet nut, please be sure to first turn off both the hot and cold water supply shut off valves. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-K-468-SD-DST.pdf Best regards, Edward

Hey, when removing to the 468-SSSD model to upgrade I'm having a difficult time removing the center mounting nut. any pointers on how to remove it... thank you

Asked by: GC947
HI GC947, Thank you for your question. Normally, the best way for removing the mounting nut of the Delta Cicero Kitchen Pull-Out 468-SSSD faucet is using the original RP11722 wrench that came with the faucet. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/Model_468.pdf Best regards, Tanya
