Hot water is only 113 degrees, not 121 degrees as it is in bathroom.
Is there an adjustment to increase hot water temperature?
Thank you for your question. The temperature on the Delta Signature kitchen 470-AR-DST faucet can not be adjusted for hotter or colder water.

Installation w/o base
I asked the earlier question about installing w/o the base. Thanks for the response. I noticed that my current faucet has a gasket at the bottom; does the new one come with a new gasket?

I have a Delta Signature Pull-Out Kitchen faucet (white) installed in 2000. I need to replace the hose assembly (see photo). What should I order?
The hose assembly and clip RP74608 and RP44647 do not appear to be the same as what we need replaced. We have a second sink/faucet in our kitchen which we want to match.
Hi Homeowner, Thank you for your question!
The original RP32527 metal coil hose for the model 470-WH is discontinued and has been replaced by the RP44647 nylon braided hose.

The web site shows the Magna-Tite icon for the Signature (470-DST), but the spec sheet does not mention that feature. Does this model have Magna-Tite?
Hi, Carol T!
Thank you for your question. The 470-DST does not have Magna-Tite Docking. We will get the website fixed to reflect this. I do apologize for this confusion.

Can I replace the aerator with an aerator with snap connection for portable dishwasher?
I replaced the aerator on our present single handle faucet with an aerator that had a snap connection for our portable dishwasher. Can I do that on this faucet?
Hi JohnnyMac, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend hooking up a portable dishwasher to our pull out or pull down spout faucet models.

I need to replace my faucet after more than 11 years. I have this exact faucet except mine does not have the long escutcheon. I have a one hole faucet and I just want an escutcheon for one hole. I don't see that - do you have it?
Dear Karen MC,
Thank you for your question. The Delta Signature Kitchen Pull-Out 470-WH-DST faucet is a 1 or 3-hole 8" installation unit. This faucet come with the optional single hole escutcheon and gasket RP50389WH. Please see below, page 2 "Center Mount Style" for the installation instructions.

hose leaks under sink, no drip from faucet
The black water feed hose under the sink leaks from the top of the connection. Would this be a problem with the faucet connection or the plumbing connecting the small hose under the collar bracing the hose to the sink? We are going to replace parts since the faucet is already partially taken apart. Does the base also come apart
Thank you for your question. The base does come apart by turning off the water to your faucet first. You're then able to remove your handle assembly by using a 1/8" allen wrench to unscrew the set screw. Take the handle off and then unscrew the cap assembly. Then, you're able to take the hub/base off of the valve.

What clip to use for attaching pull out handle to faucet water line?
From the information on your webpage I think the faucet is a Signature 470-DST, 470-WE-DST or 472-DST. The pull out handle uses some type of clip at the end to attach to the water line coming from the faucet. From the parts diagrams it looks like part # RP60911 is the part. Can you verify this? Attached are a couple of photos of the faucet and the connection I'm trying to repair with this part.
Hi Paul, Thank you for your question. Based on your photographs you have an older non-DST version of the 470/472. The correct clip to use on your hose connection is the RP32522. I have attached a link to the parts breakdown of the model 470 below to help with your repair.

470-DST Constant Drip
We were having a constant drip and purchased an off name repair kit from Home Depot (although Delta faucets were included as one of the brands it was for). My husband replaced most of the workings, but now it not only drips, but continues a tiny stream of water after turning it off unless you lift the handle at a certain degree and angle. So was the repair not done correctly, or is there something else we're missing?
HI Cat, Thank you for your question!
You will need to order and install genuine Delta parts. Even though it is stated on the package that it will work the generic parts will not. The are not manufactured exactly the same.

What is the difference between the 470-DST and 472-DST kitchen faucets?
Thank you for your question. The difference for the two units is within the handle, itself. The 470-DST has a solid metal lever handle. The 472-DST has a hollow loop in the handle which is ADA compliant so that the user can loop a ribbon through the handle so that the handle can be moved up and down and left and right in a sitting position if needed.

Why is the replacement wand part plastic and not the complete same as the first.
Hi Loritha, Thank you for your question. There have been some changes in the wand to the model 470 so that it complies with current state and federal drinking water legislation. The aerator, inner waterway, and connection point have changed.

Model # 470 DST -Wand
Model # 470 DST
Located in the water inlet end of the wand is a removable cartage. The cartage is fitted with 3 O-rings.
The water supply hose out-let screws into the cartage. Is this cartage and the (3) O-rings sold separately? If so, what are the parts numbers?
Thank you for your question. This piece is part of the wand assembly and is not intended to be removed. The complete wand assembly is RP32542.

can I add a filter to my 470 DST? if so, how?
Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to use a faucet mounted filter with any of our pull-out or pull-down faucets. However, you can use an under sink filtration system that accepts the 3/8" compression fittings on the supply lines.

I have this signature kitchen faucet right now in white, and if I were to up grade to black I would like to know how the matt black finish holds up before I do that! I love the white one but down the road I might want to change it out?
Hello, Junebug1! Quality is very important to us and our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high-quality performance. We also have a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all parts and finish.

How do you remove the old hose?
Underneath the faucet, I have removed the plastic clip. Then, I tried pulling directly down on the hose, but it will not budge. What is the proper technique for removing the hose from the faucet?
In the attached photo, you can see where the metal covering of the rubber hose has fallen down. The rubber hose remains attached to a copper piece that is somehow attached to the base of the faucet. I need to remove that copper piece from the base of the faucet, in order to complete the repair.
Hi DTW, Thank you for your question. Once the clip is removed there is nothing mechanical holding the hose to the faucet. You can use a pair of needle nose pliers placed at the top of the tubing to grab a hold of the fitting and remove.

Faucet won't connect a portable dishwasher. After MUCH research seems it requires a "Cache Faucet Adapter" (= male thread for recessed aerator area, /other end male for dishwasher connector)--So I need the aerator specs to order part. Please supply.
Thank you for your question. Connecting portable dishwashers to kitchen faucets must be done with care. None of our Delta pull out or pull down faucets are compatible with portable dishwashers. The connection puts too much stress on the hose, the wand and it's mounting.
