Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the $$$$ I purchased this in January and is stopped working in September. NOT the battery pack (which is a horrible design), the mechanism between the dispenser and the base is dead.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked for 4 months The engineering for the connection between the spout and the deck is a joke. This connection corrodes as a result to soap exposure or becomes disconnected through normal use as its a wiper style contact that becomes dirty or bent and renders the dispenser unresponsive. Faced with throwing this away I soldered a wire between the deck contact and spout. This product should have had some real world testing prior to production as its a good concept.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of $ My sons bought this for me as a birthday gift. It worked ok for about a week . Than it would randomly turn on and dispense soap , it was nearly impossible to get the “on/off” turn of the dispenser to work. Now it has completely stopped working. I have changed the batteries twice, cleaned the contacts . Disassembled it , reassembled it, nothing!!! Oh and the soap is leaking from the bottom! More trouble than its worth! Great idea , VERY BADLY MADE!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work well near water There are multiple problems with this product. The remote sensor is super sensitive so that it tries to dispense whenever I get near the sink. Eventually I just turned off the remote sensor feature, losing half the functionality. The bigger problem is that the connection between the base and the top part of the soap dispenser is made by a screw touching a plate that is poorly sealed. Whenever water splashes on the dispenser, it seeps into this connection and corrodes it so that the unit stops working. Every few weeks I have to take the unit apart, clean corrosion off the connector, and reset the dispensing settings. After 2 years of this, I finally gave up and plan to go back to a manual dispenser.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No guidelines on where to install This was installed on the right of touch faucet so every time I touch the faucet the soap goes off. There isn't enough clearance between the two. Disappointed that the installation instructions don't tell you. I watched a Delta video and was instructed to install on the left side but on the video was the only place I saw this. The soap bottle has already broken off inside after less than 6 months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bottle Breaks Had this for 6 months and then the bottle breaks from hand tightening. $111 for a bottle is crazy. Don't BUY the soap dispenser, its just a waste of time, poor design, takes forever to fill with soap. Think of how much hand soap I could purchase for $111 versus replacing the soap tank.
Date published: 2018-06-01
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible design The housing system for the soap cracked under hand tightening. Ironically the "stainless" feature only pertains to things that don't need to be stainless--the contact between the dispenser and the base unit rusted after one year of use. I thought the high price meant quality. Nope. So disappointed. Now it no longer works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bottle Leaking While we like the convenience of the automatic soap dispenser we have had multiple problems with the reliability. We need to continually make adjustments and now the bottle leaks. Don't want to buy a replacement ($111 when it only cost $135 to buy a complete unit). The date manufactured was 11/12/15 - shouldn't it last longer than that!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Idea, bad Battery compartment I agree with many reviews that the battery compartment is horrible. I have just submitted a customer service request, but am not hopeful after reading these reviews. However, when functional it is awesome! For those who are having trouble with sensitivity and amount of soap dispensed, there are some easy steps in the instructions on how to change that. Why it comes on the most annoying setting is a mystery, but we figured it out after a couple of weeks, thus the willingness to duct tape the batteries if necessary.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too difficult to use I have been using this soap dispenser about a month and found it to be too difficult to use. It gets activated almost all the time I use the sink, wasting a lot of soap. When I want to get some soap, it sometimes takes a few attempts as the sensor is then not sensitive enough. I am considering to replace it with a regular pump. Is it possible for me to just get the Delta pump and replace the head, while I deactivate the sensor? We never realized that we have ordered the automatic soap dispenser until we moved in to our house.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The design makes this a terrible product I have a touch faucet and thought I would love this, however, because it is motion sensor, the soap starts to come out when you go near it. I will be filling a pot with water, and the soap will activate when the pot is near it. The soap is literally always coming out, even when you feel far away from it (the motion sensor is VERY sensitive). My last complaint on this is how much soap is dispensed each time. Its a huge waste! SO much soap comes out when you touch it or motion towards it! This has nothing to do with quality... it looks great and the idea is awesome.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the touch concept, but refilling soap could be more convenient and parts be made to last longer. We've had this touch dispenser for almost 2 years. Overall, we are happy with it, but the plastic bottle that holds the soap just broke off at the neck. Now we have to try to get parts for it Ugh! Wish products could be made with materials that are durable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too sensitive and too much soap! Like a similar reviewer, the sensor dispenses soap when simply walking by, and dispenses way too much soap overall. In a little less than a week, it had to be refilled 4 times. Product will be switching out with a traditional hand pump.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from soap dispenser love the hands free soap dispenser, however the design of the battery pack is poor. If you hang the battery pack from the top of the battery box then the weight of the batteries can cause it to disconnect. Fixed this issue by placing it on the bottom of cabinet . Also had to call for a new dispenser as the weight of the soap in the dispenser is so heavy when full that the dispenser nozzle cracked pouring dish liquid everywhere. That said I still love the hands free dispenser!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the touches technology Purchased this to go with our touchless faucet (which we love). Had touchless soap dispenser for less than two months and regretted buying it. Despite adjusting to dispense w/ least amount of soap, it dispenses too much soap. Sensor is so sensitive that it dispenses just by getting close to dispenser. Turning dispenser on/off and refilling canister is complicated by soap being dispensed during processes. So much soap is wasted as is water rinsing extra soap down drain. And to top off already disappointing situation the product broke after less than a year of use. Of all the new appliances and renovations in our new kitchen this product was the biggest disappointment. I am so sorry we had a hole drilled in our new countertops for this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works when Battery case stays closed Purchased this last month install and setup went well, was able to adjust soap amount. However the battery compartment/case will not stay closed. Whether hanging on a screw or laying flat it just randomly pops open with both C and AA batteries. Once this happens the case falls and the batteries spew out and the unit it is non functional. At same time purchased a touch activation Delta faucet and haven't had any issues with that battery case. Will have to be replaced I imagine. Just annoying to purchase something new and the quality is lacking in a good design on an item that shouldn't need any tending to with battery life of 1.5-2 year battery life based on battery size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product overall installed this automatic dispenser with our new kitchen remodel. Works well overall. It does dispense accidentally on occasion if you are near it and trigger the sensor.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough soap pumps with each touch I liked the idea of no touch but not much soap dispenses with each tough. You have to do it 3 or 4 times to get enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the touchless soap! This item has been in use in my kitchen for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it. No more raw meaty hands touching a soap bottle/nozzle. I bought this along with a touchless faucet. This germaphobic is quite happy at not having to wipe down faucets and soap dispensers after working with raw foods (and greasy foods too).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from multiple settings make this soap dispenser easy to use I bought this soap dispenser for our kitchen renovation. It is compact and fits well in the space above the sink. It also matches my Delta faucet and Delta water dispenser. The artic color is really pretty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy Appearance I purchased this dispenser a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed with the service I received before the purchase. The representatives seemed to really care about my needs. After ordering, the products were delivered amazingly fast in substantive packaging. The dispenser seems to be made of good quality. I was concerned about the color "Arctic", but it just looks like polished nickel which is what I needed. Four stars only because I haven't installed yet. Hope to install this week.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work Unfortunately the dispenser does not dispense soap currently. I need to do a trouble shooting diagnostic to the dispenser and see if I can get it working again. It was easy to install.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I am not happy with the dispenser. The rubber ring connection between the dispenser and the counter top is loose and cannot be tightened. Therefore, the red and blue light are not where they are positioned to be. If I get get my money back, It would be great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally soap to match my faucet I have had the touch faucet for about 2 years and finally got the matching soap dispenser. They should sell them as a set. Love the pair but on occasion I do get a random squirt or two. But heck what is a little extra soap gonna hurt. My husband yells at it but he's yelled at the faucet the whole time we've had it and it's my all time favorite so I just chuckle. It's not going anywhere, I do the cooking and when my hands are covered in food the last thing I want to do is touch or push something on my own sink that I have to clean after. I would highly recommend. And my friends love it when they come over. I would note you do end up going through a lot of soap though;) so stock up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect functionality! Installed in our new kitchen with matching touch faucet. Looks sleek. Tap with a finger and the perfect amount of soap is dispensed to wash dishes or wash hands. You can set the amount of soap that comes out. No more clutter with bottles of soap on the counter. I would definitely recommend this product. Also, you can twist the spout to one side or the other to shut the unit off for cleaning, etc. so you don't accidentally dispense soap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Be careful where you install it The dispenser is attractive and operates just like the description. The challenge is that where our plumber installed it we accidentally dispense soap when we do not intend to which leads to waste. While washing dishes by hand if one's hand comes within 4 inches soap is dispensed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistent Purchased this product just over a month ago and it has stopped working most of the time. Called Delta about getting a replacment and they starting having me trouble shoot. After giving the Delta Rep all my information (name, address, phone number) and during the troubleshooting process - The call dropped. I never received a call back to even attempt to address my issue. I can't count on this dispenser to give me soap when needed and apparently can't count on Delta to support it (Even though says lifetime warranty). I have ordered a new dispenser and will be throwing this away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this sensor soap dispenser!! How great it is to have this dispenser. No more pumping, no more tip overs. You can choose sensor or tapping. The champagne color is perfect. Just add the soap with the little funnel and voila! A larger container would be nice though, we use a lot of soap.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for use but leaked soap under the sink I bought this because I had an unused kitchen sink appendage and a countertop hands free soap dispenser for dish soap. This was the perfect solution to remove the unused item and get rid of the counter top unit in one action. This soap dispenser was very easy to install in my granite counter top. It dispensed too much soap per "squirt" but I adjusted it and it was fine. Then after about 2-3 months of use I had to get in the back of my kitchen cabinet for something and discovered a giant pool of dish soap. It had been leaking since I installed it. I looked at the under sink part of the unit and soap had dripped down the sides and all over the wires to the battery pack. I cleaned it up and laid down layers of paper towels for future drips. I thought maybe it was just leaking when it was dispensing so I turned the dispense amount down even further. It didn't work...still leaking pools of soap. I finally took it out yesterday and replaced it with a new counter top dispenser. I had the removed unit sitting upright on the counter and when I was ready to deal with it 2 hours later, there was a pool of soap on the counter top under the unit. So it wasn't leaking just when soap was dispensed. It was leaking ALL THE TIME! No wonder why I went through so much soap in the months I was using this item. I'd love to send it back and receive a refund.

Can the soap dispenser be hooked up to an electric power supply like the faucets?

Asked by: Don
Hi Don, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, our touch soap dispensers do not have the option of using a power supply. You may use 6 AA for a 2 year battery life or 6 C batteries for up to a 5 year battery life. Best regards, Jon

I am unable to reset the soap flow

Asked by: Tim 1
Hi, Tim 1! Thank you for your question. A tap will give you a factory set amount of soap. To modify the amount of soap delivered, follow the sequence of steps below. The factory setting is equivalent to 3 taps. So to reduce the amount delivered, tap 1 or 2 times once in program mode. To increase the amount delivered, tap 4 or 5 times once in program mode. Grab the spout for 5 seconds. You will see a solid purple light. Let go of the spout. Tap 1-5 times for the amount of soap you want. The blue light flashes the number of times you selected (ie: 1-5 times). It will return to a solid purple light. If a different amount is desired,re-tap. Grab the spout for 5 seconds to save your setting & exit. The purple light will turn off. Let go of the spout. Your soap dispenser will dispense the same amount with Touch & Hands-free activation. Best Regards, Rosanna
