Single hole installation

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Features I bought less than a month ago and still have difficulty getting this soap dispenser consistently functional

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Is there a manual replacement available? Had this installed about a year ago during kitchen remodel. Unfortunately the bottle is trapped in between the cupboards so it is not easy to replace. Is there a manual pump unit that can install in place of the handsfree unit? I want to use the bottle that is already built into my island

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It will quit on you, sooner rather than later This dispenser is great in theory, terrible in practice. Like most ours stopped working after about 6 months of operation. We followed everything in the manual to no avail. Finally broke down and called Delta, they were responsive and sent us a new bottle and motor. That obviously fixed the problem but now the replacement has stopped working only after 2 months. In addition to terrible functioning, the unit is flimsy and cheap feeling. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It will quit on you, sooner rather than later The idea of this dispenser is great but in reality it's awful. Like many others have said mine worked well for a couple months and the stopped working. Motor runs but it produces no soap. I called Delta and they sent out a new bottle and motor. The new one worked for around 1 month and stopped working again. Also it feels flimsy and cheap. Not worth it at all. I've only been frustrated by this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not live up to Delta Name We just remodeled our kitchen. I do love the Trinsic touch faucet. The soap dispenser is another story. The dispenser, on my third one in 2 weeks, dispenses on it's own even in the off position. I had plumber install the first one, and it didn't work at all. Delta did replace the unit. We replaced and this is when the soap started dispensing on its own. I returned to plumbing supply and they ordered us a new one. Just installed this morning and it is doing the same thing. Very frustrating. I would like to go back to the conventional pump soap dispenser.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update You will see my review listed here in the one star ratings, my dispenser did not last two years. Delta reached out to me and sent me a replacement dispenser. I still do not recommend this dispenser however I do recommend Delta. That was outstanding customer service. So my excellent rating is for the customer service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not last 2 yrs This dispenser was easy to install however i noticed it feels cheap and somewhat flimsy. Anyway it seemed to work okay at first and we were satisfied. A few months ago it started behaving strangely we replaced the batteries and it still doesn't work properly so I pulled off the spout like I was filling it with soap and noticed the contacts at the back of the spout were brown (rusty). I cleaned it the best that I could with a toothbrush and wd40. I was able to get most of the rusty brown stuff out but it will not work at all now. For something operating in a wet environment such as a kitchen sink I would expect it to be better built for the price you pay.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor operation We bought this dispenser a year ago, and we have not been able to keep it working regularly. After six months it stopped working altogether , we called Delta and they replaced it with a new one. The same thing happened. WE spend more time trying to get it to work than we do using it. If we set it to hands free, it changes to touch and viceversa. We are totally frustrated with it and we are going to simply get a basic pump dispenser and just throw this out. It looks beautiful, but it is non functioning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t get this I saw the other reviews and thought how bad can it be. Trust me, you don’t want this soap dispenser. First of all it’s flimsy. It’s use is very finicky. You can program/configure it. Mind kept loosing it’s configuration so you have to re-configure often. Lastly, it’s not worth the expense.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impossible to overstate how much I hate this I've had this worthless abomination for about two years now and multiple times a day I regret installing it. It was insanely difficult to install, constantly misfires, does not respond when you want it to, and is nearly impossible to program according to the directions. I would only recommend this to my worst enemy because I know the constant torment it would provide.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product adds functionality and a sleek design to my kitchen. I think the spout does need to be soaked in vinegar and water from time to time to keep the spout unclogged. Perhaps this soaking process should be mentioned in the instruction booklet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rarely works! I bought three of these for my new home and none have worked well. We are constantly working on them. Frustrating!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lifetime Delta user Always quality with Delta products till this one. Soap dispenser is hard to use and when you do finally get soap, the amount dispensed is too small to use. After walking thru the step process with Delta representative, I got more soap but still inadequate. Take it off market, you don’t need bad products, let the other companies get these horrible reviews.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great in Theory, not so great in practical use Bought this mostly from an aesthetic stand point and convenience. However, the aesthetic does not out way how difficult it is to use. There is an on/off feature. When off there is no manual way to get soap. When on, the sensor is very sensitive and doesn't always respond when trying to use the touch or motion. However, when washing dishes or even walking by, it will respond, sending soap every where and all over the sink and counter. In addition, the amount of soap it dispenses is way too much. But it looks nice! Again, great in theory...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Go with a manual! This dispenser has to be primed with every use. So, your first 3-4 attempts are unsuccessful. I find myself wishing I had went with a good, old fashioned, manual pump. No one has time for this, nor do you want to have to explain it to everyone who tries using it. I do love my Delta trinsic touch faucet. I wish there was a manual pump soap dispenser to match, especially now that I've drilled a hole through my granite. I went with a manual Moen pump with a similar appearance. I do not recommend you drill a hole in your countertop to house this product that doesn't work more often that it does.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked great for 6 months then stopped dispensing soap Pretty bummed - seems like I am having a common problem. The dispenser is the only one that matches the style of touch faucet. Dispensed soap great for 6 months then stopped pumping up soap. The motor activates and spins fine, however it just wont pump anything up. You'd think it would have lasted longer for the price and because it's a Delta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality dispensor. No more messy hands pumping out the soap. This unit has a motion sensor and works great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would Be Great If It Worked Purchased the Delta automatic soap dispenser to match my Delta touch faucet..it worked great for the first 30 days, now it does not dispense any soap, I can hear the motor working, I followed the troubleshooting directions to no avail, needless to say I requested a refund on this item. Stick to the manual kind if you want reliability.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks/works great Looks good, works well. Agree with prior reviewer that it dispenses a bit too much soap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Soap Dispenser I purchased this soap dispenser for its contemporary look and touchless dispensing function. It looks great next to my Delta 9159 faucet and doesn't seem as big and bulky as when I first opened the box. Took me about 20 minutes to install and setup. Opted to install C batteries in lieu of the included double A's with adapter. I'm hoping I won't have to change the batteries for a while.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks cool but is the hands free convienence worth it? Bought for sleek looks and cool function but sometimes the sensor goes off when you don't need soap dispensed if you come too close. I need to research how to possible adjust the sensor but we have not used it enough yet to say for sure if the hands free thing is worth the added expense. I do know that my regular dispensers always last 3-4 years before seals start to go so I like the 5 year warranty.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice features I bought this soap dispenser to pair with my Delta Trinsic Pro faucet in arctic stainless as the finishes matched perfectly. I love the no touch feature but was a little disappointed in the quality of the product. I was expecting something more substantial like the Trinsic Pro Faucet but much of this unit is plastic and very light. Time will tell if it holds up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Style and Convenience I bought this for the style. It was the only contemporary dispenser available in the champagne bronze. I love that you can program it for touch or motion. I have mine set for touch - there is way too much action at my clean up sink to use motion. I adjusted the amount of soap to the lowest setting and it is perfect - a slight tap and you're good to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful soap dispenser I bought this soap dispenser because I wanted to match my delta touch less faucet. It match perfectly and I love it. The only downside fall is that if your hand go near it soap will come out. That is the reason why I did not give it 5 star but all in all I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great and easy to install We bought this soap dispenser to match our new touch activated faucet. It was easy to install and looks great. I like the fact that you fill the soap from the top. Not like other dispensers that you have to fill from the bottom by unscrewing the soap container that is hard to reach. The dispenser comes with a funnel so it's easy to refill without a mess. It is a bit sensitive. My husband and I find ourselves touching it by mistake while doing dishes or drying around the sink. You can turn it to the right to shut it off, so I have started doing that. We have only had it for 3 weeks, so we are still getting use to it. We love it and would highly recommend the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta 72065 Touch soap dispenser I purchased this soap dispenser to match my Delta trinsic touch faucet. Its the only one that matches. Out of the box I was a little worried that it looked oversized, just big. But after installing it, it looks good. Install is easy unless you cant read directions. Dispenser has some cool features. I recommend turning off the auto sensing.(meaning you dont have to touch it to have soap dispensed). Just to sensitive and would dispense when I operate the faucets or get to close. But its just a setting you change. You can also change the dose of soap to. Mine you touch with your hand and out comes the soap. I tried to add photo but it wont let me .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good We mainly purchased this because we were replacing an older faucet that did not have a pull down sprayer, but instead had a hole in the counter where the sprayer went. Since we wanted a pull down sprayer, we decided to fill the hole with this. My son and husband like it. I can't always get it to work (they can), but it does dispense the right amount of soap and looks fine with the matching faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Product... Goes great with Touch Activation After purchasing a Delta Touch Activation faucet, I had to get a touch activated soap dispenser as well. Installation seemed very easy (we had our contractor install it) and it works great. The touch activation is awesome, though it does take some getting used to. You will have a few premature soap dispensing in your sink the first few days, but you'll adjust. I decided to turn on the proximity sensor which proved to be a little sensitive and have had more than a few inadvertent soap dispensed accidentally after accidentally waving my hand near it. Overall though, i'm a huge fan of touch activation and would recommend it to go along with a Touch activated faucet!

Hello there. Can I use an AC Adapter instead of batteries? I have my Trinsic Pro with the AC Adapter. That’s why I’m asking.  Thanks

Asked by: Vinhidalgo
Hi Vinhdalgo, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, our touch soap dispensers do not have the option of using a power supply. You may use 6 AA for a 2 year battery life or 6 C batteries for up to a 5 year battery life. Best regards, Tanya

The reviews for this product are below average to poor. Due to the low reliability of this product I would like to know what the warranty is for this specific product? I don’t want to spend $130 for an electronic dispenser that breaks after a year

Asked by: DanD
Thank you for your question, DanD! The warranty will specifically cover any manufacture defect for as long as the original purchaser owns the home they have installed this in. Electronic portions of the dispenser are covered for five years from the time of installation. Any parts purchased after that would then carry another five year warranty. https://www.deltafaucet.com/service-parts/warranty Best regards, Edward

what size hole do i make in the granite for installation?

Asked by: alice
Hi, Alice, Thank you for your question. We recommend the hole size to measure between the diameter of the shank coming down from the soap dispenser (1 1/16") and the diameter of the base of the soap dispenser (2 17/64"). Please refer to our technical specifications for additional measurements. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-72045T%20Rev%20D.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

Stopped working. Purple light flashes once when I tap it. Proximity does not work. No soap dispensed.

Asked by: depressed delta
DeltaFaucet234, I read the manual. I can successfully switch proximity mode on and off. When proximity mode is on, i.e. the blue light came on, the proximity sensor has no effect, but tapping the dispenser results in a single purple light.. When proximity mode is off, i.e. the red light came on, tapping the dispenser results in a single purple light. When it is configuring the amount of soap, i.e. the purple light is solid, tapping it causes the light to flash blue according to the number of taps. So, what you said is not helpful because it's not addressing my problem.

can I get a smaller size of soap bottle with my 72065T? The one that came with it. is too big to fit between my sink and cabinetry. Help!

Dear Melissa, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Contemporary Touch Soap Dispenser 72065T, has only one stand alone bottle assembly EP77059 designed for it. We do not make a larger or smaller soap bottle for this dispenser. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-S-72065T.pdf Best regards, Tanya
