Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my Faucet! When I renovated my kitchen a few months ago, I shopped in stores and online for faucets. Build.com offered the best price on the one I selected, and I'm very pleased with its appearance and performance. Ordering and delivery was simple and efficient. It took awhile for me to always remember not to initiate full-force use in the "spray" position, because that tends to splash the user. But once I got used to that, I liked everything about the faucet: it's beautiful (stainless steel finish), it's efficient, and the pull-down spout is so convenient for filling the teapot or saucepan. It's the right size and height, and easy to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What a dirrerence When picking out fixtures for our kitchen remodel I really wanted to stay with the traditional style faucet. Since they are not as available as this style we decided to go with it. We love it! We are great cooks and handle a lot of raw food. So, the lever handle is great. You can push it with the side of your arm then you are not contaminating the handle with whatever raw product is on your hands. It reminds me of a hospital sink. Thanks for a outstanding product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware: not for single basin sinks I learned the hard way that this faucet is for double sinks only. On a single basin sink, the reach is too far forward (doesn’t point directly down the drain) and the entire mid-section of your body gets drenched when you wash dishes. Since I already invested in the product and installation, I purchased a plastic apron to keep me dry, but wanted to warn others.

How to replace the battery?? How to take apart.?

Essa model 9113T-DST
Asked by: Tonya
Hi, Tonya! Thank you for your question. The battery pack is under your sink attached by a wire to the solenoid assembly. To replace the batteries, remove the battery cover from the top of the battery pack. Take the casing that the batteries are in from the battery pack and change out the batteries. Reinstall everything back together. Best Regards, Rosanna

Will the wand stay on the spray setting after you turn the faucet off and back on, or does it automatically default to the stream setting each time?

We're looking for a faucet that will stay on the spray setting until we manually switch it back to stream. And will the answer be the same for all your kitchen faucets? Thanks.
Asked by: Hi pines
Ours stays in spray mode until we manually switch it back to stream.

How do you install the cartridge

Asked by: Peggy
Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. You will need a 1/8" allen wrench to remove the handle assembly. Please be sure to turn off the water at the shut off valve before removing the handle. You may also need an adjustable wrench to loosen the bonnet nut around the valve cartridge assembly. Once the bonnet nut is removed, the cartridge will slide out. Check the valve body for debris then insert the new cartridge, screw on the bonnet nut and please be sure not to over-tighten the bonnet as we recommend tightening a 1/4 turn to a full turn past finger tight. Then attach the handle with the set screw and this repair is complete. Turn on the shut off valves below the counter slowly and test to make sure the water flows correctly. If you have any questions, please contact us directly at 1-800-345-3358 Monday-Friday: 8a.m.-8p.m. EST and Saturday: 9a.m.-6p.m. EST or via email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Can the escutcheon plate be modified for a two or one hole installation?

The escutcheon plate appears to be designed for three holes, since it has two threaded cylinders that appear to be designed to fill the two additional holes adjacent to the main faucet hole. In my installation, I need to cover one additional hole that is currently used for a soap dispenser. Can the escutcheon plate be modified for such an installation? Thank you, Mark
Asked by: Mark
Hi Mark, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to modify the base plate. You may use a matching soap dispenser or hole cover to fill the second hole. Best regards, Jon

Asked by: DiannaB
Dear DiannaB, Thank you for your question. The Delta Essa kitchen 9113-AR-DST doesn't have a removable aerator. You would soak the whole wand in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and tap water for about 30 to 45 minutes to loosen and flush out any debris or particles. Best regards, Tanya

How does the handle control temperature and pressure?

Does pushing the handle toward the vertical make the water cold or hot? If the water is turned off, does the temperature setting remain - so that one can turn it back on at the same temperature "setting"?
Asked by: Roy
Temperture is mixed through handle control from vertical (cold) (to Hot) in full down or horizontal position. The pressure is always constant but the flow of water is controlled through the movement of handle in and out. It is linear as you move through hot to cold without any noticeable increase of water flow at the half way point. With handle in full open position the flow rate is fixed at 1.2gpm. but the pressure is always the same which is set at the local water pumping station into your home. Usually 60-80 psi
