Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rusting at the magnetic connection We purchased this very expensive Trinsic (matte black) faucet for our kitchen remodel about 1.5 years ago. The touch feature has been awesome, but over the past few months, the gap between the faucet body and the faucet head was growing. Today a rusted piece from the faucet body started hanging down. I did not expect to have this kind of an issue with a faucet that was this expensive! We purchased this faucet through our local Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Showroom based on their recommendation. Help!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faucet touch system doesnt work I bought a new house which is 2 years old. It came with this faucet installed and the touch on/off system does not work. We've changed batteries several times which seems to help for a very short period of time. After a few days it goes back to not working. You can touch it sometimes 30 times before anything happens. Sometimes we just cant get it to go on at all and we resort to using the sink in the bathroom. I'd like to just defeat the touch control and use it as a standard faucet but that doesn't seem possible. I've removed the battery pack but still no water.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Touch technology doesn't work I just installed this brand new faucet and I can't get it to work. I was really hoping I would have a good experience with it because it looks so nice and sleek and innovative, but it's a dud. I'm hoping I can get a replacement that works or some kind of tech support because I really need a facet that works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of its class This is second Delta Touch faucet. Installation is fairly basic, just follow the guidelines. Touchless feature, auto off, and temperature light are great features. I purchased the plug in adapter, thus bypassing the need for the battery pack (BP). BP is there in case of power outage. Styling is great, nice contemporary design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love this faucet This faucet is life changing. The only complaint I have is that every faucet in my house doesn't have this feature. It looks beautiful and is so perfect for someone who is very busy in the ktichen. I love that it turns off on it's own when left on too long too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great, one big issue Had this installed in our new home, love the look and the function. Unfortunately after three months of use, the battery pack lid is falling off so we intermittently don’t have power. I didn’t know a hardwire was an option, so I think we are stuck with a duck taped battery pack. Would recommend this if you hardwire it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from When it worked it was great This sink has been causing me great trouble and makes easy tasks such as washing dishes so incredibly cumbersome. We get it to work sometimes and then it stops working sporadically. When it does start working it makes crazy noises and only lets out a very little amount of water, it almost seems like a motor is about to blast off. I called a plumber over but they really didn't understand what to do. I know ignoring the porblem is definitely not sustainable and there are only so many times I can change the battery. If someone could help me troubleshoot the issues I am facing I would really apprecitate it.

Install with lever handle in the front

Can I install the faucet with the level handle in the front instead of to the right? If yes, would it change the location of the blue light for the touch2o motion?
Asked by: Excel2more
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9159T-DST can be turned so the handle is in the front. However, the blue light will also move. Also, the hot and cold will be side to side to operate.

I am having an issue I’d like some help with please. Sometimes when I touch the faucet to stop the flow of water we get a steady drip (sometimes heavier than others). When we use the handle to stop the water, no drip. What mechanism needs attention?

Asked by: Vanne
Hi, Vanne! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode usually comes from debris inside the solenoid. You may flush the solenoid by following these next steps. 1. Turn the water supply by putting your handle in the manual off position. 2. Disconnect the sprayer hose by removing the blue retaining clip. 3. Place a bucket under the male adapter coming out from the solenoid. 4. Run water into the bucket for 2-3 minutes. Debris located inside the solenoid should be flushed out after completing these steps. If this does not correct the leak, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

Trinsic 9959-DST

I'd like to install the Trinsic 9959-DST bar faucet in my kitchen. I have a 3 hole sink. What model escutcheon should I use? I have an escutcheon for my current faucet and want to know if I'll be able to use it. The current faucet base has a 2 inch diameter. What's the base of the 9959-DST? Are there other factors in selecting the appropriate escutcheon? Thickness? I don't know what brand or style the existing escutcheon is. See photo. Thanks.

In our particular application, the faucet is very close to the backsplash area. I fear that normal right side mount Will not provide sufficient space to turn the lever to cold water. I would like to mount the handle facing forward.

I’m considering buy either the arctic stainless or chrome.  I currently have a chrome faucet from another brand and the handle has started to bubble and chip after 6+ years.  Have you had any problems with the chrome?  Which finish is more popular/durable

Asked by: Kelli
Thank you for your question Kelli! These are both popular finishes, however, Chrome is most commonly purchased for its versatility. Although our finishes are extremely durable, they can be damaged by harsh abrasives, chemicals or polish. To clean, we suggest simply wiping gently with a damp cloth and blotting dry with a soft towel. Best regards, Edward

Can the handle be mounted on the LEFT

I currently have a kitchen faucet with a detached handle mounted in a hole 4" to the right of the faucet. I'm looking to replace this setup with a single handle kitchen faucet that will let me mount the handle on the LEFT side so I can use the existing hole 4" on the right for a filtered water dispenser. Questions: 1) Will this faucet let me mount the handle on the left? 2) Is there anything related to mounting the faucet that will interfere with my re-use of the hole 4" to the right of the faucet?

My faucet won't turn completely off when using the touch feature. How can this be fixed?

The touch feature works fine when turning on the faucet. But, last week the faucet continues to allow a small stream of water when I use the touch feature. It's more than just a drip. It will turn completely off when I use the handle. The faucet is about 1 year old.
Asked by: Jeff
Hi, Jeff. Thank you for your question, and I am sorry that you are experiencing a leak from your faucet. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode comes from debris inside the solenoid. Best Regards, Rosanna

Our sink which has the Delta Faucet is located on an outside wall. As the temperatures plummet this winter, we would like to leave this Faucet on a slow drip overnight. I recently purchased a condo that has a model 9159T faucet. The water here has some sediment and the flow seems to be restricted. Can the end piece be taken apart for cleaning? Is soaking it in a vinegar/water solution the only way to clean the head?

Asked by: Mike
Hi, Mike! Thank you for your question. The sprayer assembly for the Delta 9159T-DST faucet can be removed from the hose assembly to be soaked in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight to clean any debris that may cause the flow issue. Best Regards, Rosanna
