Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s Great! My dream come true! Love being able to just touch the faucet with my wrist or elbow when my hands are dirty. Love the strong magnet that keeps the pull down sprayer in place securely.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Annoying Temperature Control If you are going to use this faucet for just either cold or scalding hot water, then this is for you. It is literally almost impossible to get the temperature you want between cold and hot. It will take you a long time adjusting the lever to get just the right temperature that you want, but then you won't succeed, terribly annoying. PLEASE READ all the negative reviews here before deciding to buy this faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant appearance I bought this faucet for my wife's kitchen and she is quite pleased with it. She says the look is elegant and the faucet works flawlessly. She especially likes the quite long sprayer hose. The only negative is that the escutcheon is just chrome plated plastic. For the expensive price it would seem Delta could afford metal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from DESIGN SUGGESTIONS We like the styling and features of this faucet, except for the maximum flow rate of 1.8 gal/min. Seems like it could be designed to let the user decide which flow rate best suits them by having different sized plastic washers in the head and not have a restriction where the hose connects to the head.

everywhere online sells this for $179.But on your site & at my local K&B stores it is priced at $385.20? That's a HUGE difference in price! Are there two versions of this product out there? Does the cheaper price mean lesser quality?

Asked by: lefty
Hi Lefty, We appreciate your interest in Delta faucets. All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. The website shows the product at list price. Dealers purchase the product in bulk for selling it readily to consumers, so they are able to offer a much lower price. However, the quality of all Delta faucets are the same. Best regards, Tanya

When searching this model on the online sites they do not indicate the sprayshield technology - when was it introduced on this model and how do ensure I get one with this feature if I place an order with them?  Thanks

Asked by: Cloogs
Hello, Cloogs. Thank you for your question! The ShieldSpray version began shipping in December of 2017. Please check with the vendor to ensure that they are offering the version with ShieldSpray. The product description should indicate if the faucet will have this feature. Best regards, Jon

installation on a mica countertop w/farm sink

How far back from a farm sink would be a safe installation for this faucet on brand new mica counter tops?
Asked by: new kitchen
new kitchen, Thank you for your question. The spout extends 9 1/4" from the center of the faucet to the center of the aerator and we advise to allow 2 1/2" clearance to the backsplash. However, it is up to you to decide where to install the faucet in your installation. Please refer to the Technical Specifications for more measurements. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-19978-SD-DST%20Rev%20D.pdf Best regards, Jon

Is the faucet intentionally set to the return to the center automatically?

Asked by: daryl
Thank you for your question, Daryl. The spout is not designed to center automatically. Please check to make sure that the hose is not twisted or catching on anything below the sink and that the faucet is installed on a level surface. Best regards, Jon

Please give me advantages and disadvantages of the "Touch-Clean" spray holes?

Am I guessing that you can flex a rubber disk with holes in it to knock off water deposits? And is this disk less likely to last as long as a metal aperture plate? And is this disk replaceable by homeowner, or do I have to buy a whole new faucet?
Asked by: RiverCityKen
Dear RiverCityKen, Thank you for your inquiry! The wand assembly of the Delta Leland Pull-Down Kitchen 9178-SP-DST faucet has the Touch-Clean feature. This simply means you can rub your fingers over the nubs of the spray nozzle for cleaning. The design of the product makes removing deposits easier. Best regards, Tanya
