Thank you for your question. Our units are made of various materials, not just brass or plastic. We do use a mixture of different metals calling it "pot metal". Due to water laws in certain states we have to be compliant if we want to sell the units there. We make them all the same and they are sold everywhere as such.
We can't provide that level of detail every time. And specific amounts are considered
proprietary (trade secret).
But in general, the faucet may contain:
Brass (36000, 260) (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings)
Zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle)
Stainless Steel (undercover plate, seat liner, set screw)
PEX-C (puck and tubing)
Synthetic rubber - EDPM, Santoprene (hoses)
Theses materials would be for external as well as internal pieces as well. However, the units made with a "DST" (Diamond Seal Technology) cartridges are ceramic. This is where the water runs thru the unit.
