Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problem came later We purchased this faucet about 5 years ago and over the last 6-12 months is when issues began. The hose and nozzle began to rust and now the nozzle no longer securely connects with the faucet, Disappointing for what we paid for it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cartridge is not durable for over five years I bought a new house with this kitchen faucet six years ago. It started to drip because cartridge need to be changed. I found the faucet manufacturer warranty only for five years and other brands I asked from store for life time warranty. I hope I can get help to find the parts to fix the problem. I also have a bathroom faucet with the same problem as kitchen faucet. I'll start to deal with these two faucets. Keep fingers crossed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Customer I purchased my on/off touch faucet about 5 yrs. ago and sprayer head has recently sagged away from arched tube magnetic connector because of rust. I called Delta customer service prepared to buy replacement parts and was then reminded by service agent of Delta's lifetime warranty . Delta is now shipping replacement sprayer head and magnet to solve problem. No hassel and no cost to me! Thanks Delta!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Addison Kitchen Faucet We have new construction as of 4 years ago. We love the style of this, but the performance has been less than average. It is now leaking from the handle, whether the electronics are on or off. It is more of a mechanical and quality problem. We will be sitting in the other room, no dishwasher running or anything, and the water will just come on! The soap dispenser started giving us problems about a year ago, not wanting to release when pressed down to express soap. Frustrated, especially with such a high price tag!! I usually don't write poor reviews, but I am disappointed with this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't live up to its hype Loved the look and the touch-option and we installed it in 2013 a remodeled kitchen. Within two years the hand-touch option stopped working and even after phoning Delta and obtaining a Solenoid, we couldn't fix it. so for years it's been without touch. Then about a year ago it started dripping for about 3 seconds after shutting it off. Now, two weeks ago it drips for about 6 seconds after shutting it off. We don't want to struggle with any fixes and we plan to pull this out and buy something else--not a touch-option, however. afraid that is too likely to default.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product - my second in almost 15 years! My first touch faucet lasted forever, I almost wanted it to die so that I can buy a new model. After 15 years, my celliniod needed to be replaced and I opted to buy a new one instead. I ended up buying the same model with upgraded splash guard. Not sure if I like the splash guard, but in any event I love that the water will turn off if I walked away and forgot that the water was on. And use your arms if your hands are not free to turn on the faucet! It's functional and pretty!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works great - unless batteries are dead. If batteries go out, so does the faucet, no water. I wouldn't suggest a touch-less faucet. Otherwise good product.

how do i deactivate the one touch feature

Asked by: altitude
Hello Altitude, Thank you for your inquiry! To deactivate that touch feature on your Delta Addison Pull-Down Kitchen 9192T-SSSD-DST faucet, you would simply remove the batteries from the faucet while it is running (if applicable) or completely remove the solenoid and battery box assemblies and connect the faucet as standard pull-down faucet. Please review "Manual Bypass" section on page 40 of the below document, for diagram instructions. https://media.deltafaucet.com/QuickstartDiagram/QS-81427%20Rev%20B.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Water flow from the faucet has slowed significantly. Spout is clean. Happens with both hot and cold water. Water pressure through the rest of the house is normal. Suggestion about how to fix the issue?

Asked by: Neil
Hi, Neil! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your Delta faucet. We recommend to flush the lines and clean the debris screen at your solenoid assembly under the sink. To flush the lines, make sure your handle is in the 'off' position. Disconnect the top hose from your solenoid assembly and point it into a bucket. Turn on the water from your handle and let the water flow through the open hose into the bucket. Does it have adequate flow? Since the hose is disconnected, this is a good time to take the debris screen out of the solenoid. The debris screen is located in the opening of the solenoid where the hose was connected into. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the small debris screen out. Clean the debris screen by rinsing it in running water at another faucet in your home since your kitchen faucet will be disconnected. Install it back into the solenoid and connect everything back up. Try the faucet. Does it still have low flow? If so, turn the handle in the off position. Disconnect the hose from the bottom of the solenoid. Point the whole solenoid into the bucket. Turn the handle in the 'on' position. Flush the solenoid through. Does it have low flow or give you full force? If after all these steps you are still experiencing low flow, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

Asked by: LL
Hi LL, I apologize that you are having problems with your Delta faucet. A safety feature of the 9192T-SD-DST would be the automatic shut off after four minutes of non touch from the faucet. There is not a way to turn this feature off. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Asked by: jo56

Space needed

How far does the hole need to be from the backsplash for clearance of the swivel lever? You stated 2 1/2 inches from the faucet. Did you mean the hole? Do you have any single hole pull down arc faucets that would fit into less than 2 1/2" away from the backsplash?
Asked by: Mary
Thank you for your question. It is recommended for all our of our faucets that the minimum space to the backsplash be 2 1/2". However, sometimes this is not possible. This is measured from the center of the spout to the backsplash. If you do not have this much space, your handle may not properly work.

The hot water on my addision single handle faucet is not working properly. when i turn on the hot water it just trickles out of the faucet. Help!

my faucet just trickles out the hot water. The cold water works just fine. please assist. thank you
Asked by: kim
Hi Kim, With the low flow being only on the hot side, it is possible that the problem is at the water shut off. Please check the pressure at the supply. If that is not the issue, low flow on a touch faucet can be troubleshot as follows: First, please check the wand for debris or buildup. If there is debris or buildup present, clean the wand with a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar. If no debris is present in the wand, run the faucet without the wand, if the flow issue is resolved, you may need a new solenoid. If the low flow is not corrected, please remove the hose and run the faucet with the hose removed. If the low flow is corrected, you may need a new hose. If the low flow still exists, please remove the solenoid and inspect the debris screen. If debris is present, clean the screen with a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar. If there is no debris, run the faucet with the solenoid removed. If the low flow is resolved with the solenoid removed, you may need a new solenoid. If not, you may need to backflush the supplies.

the LED light indicating water temperature has quit working. How do I remedy this situation?

Asked by: cccg
Hi, Cccg! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. We recommend to reset the LED light wire and battery pack. To do this, disconnect the LED light wire from the solenoid. Disconnect the battery pack. Wait a full minute. While you are waiting a full minute, you can check batteries and see if they are in good condition, even try new batteries. Make sure they're all in the correct direction and tightly secured in the battery pack. After a full minute, reconnect the LED light wire into the solenoid and then reconnect the battery pack. Wait another full minute. After the full minute, you can then check your faucet and see if the blue light works better. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. Can you change position of touch kitchen faucet to face straight out there is no room to face it left or right wall is to close

Asked by: Tony
Hi Tony, Installing this faucet with the handle facing forward will not technically cause any installation issues. However, the led light indicator is keyed to the spout so it would be facing the side as well as grasping the handle in the front may cause inadvertent taps to the faucet causing it to turn on. I hope this information is helpful. Please contact our Customer Service Department is you would like any further assistance.

If batteries go dead in faucet, will water still flow manually? i.e. does water completely stop working when batteries go? We lost water, and still had lights. We changed batteries and works again. I thought it would still run manually without batteries

Asked by: Diane
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, Diane! The faucet will flash red when turned on or off when the batteries need to be replaced. If the batteries get too low, the solenoid will not open, but the light may still come on. You can switch to manual mode before this happens by disconnecting the batteries while the water is running. You may also do a complete manual bypass by removing the solenoid assembly if needed. Best regards, Jon

Distance to backsplash

I see that for this faucet the minimum clearance to the backsplash is 2.5". Is this measured from the center of the faucet hole? If so I should be fine, since the center of the hole in my sink is just over 2.5" from the backsplash. Or is the 2.5" clearance measured from the back of the faucet upright? If this is the case, at what height above the top of sink is that much clearance needed? (I assume that would be the distance from the top of the sink to the top of the handle when the handle is positioned as far back as it goes.) Behind my sink I have a backsplash that rises 2.5" above the top of the sink. Above that is a section of wall that rises 4.5" above the backsplash and is recessed about 1" And above that is a window sill that protrudes 3/4" from the wall. In other words, I have greater clearance from 2.5" to 7" above the top of the sink--less clearance below and above that section.

Hi Stanley! Thank you for your question. The clearance to the back splash is 2.5" from the center of the faucet. Best Regards, Rosanna

Asked by: B
Hi B, We are sorry that you are experiencing a problem with your model 9192T-SD-DST faucet. Since the cold water is still coming out full force the wand and electronics are not the issue. Somewhere the hot water flow is being slowed. First you should verify that you have good flow from your hot water supply stop. If you have good flow from the supply stop you will want to make sure that the RP50587 valve assembly is clean and free from debris that may affect the hot water flow. Thanks, Dave

Can dish soap be used in soap dispenser instead of hand soap

Asked by: Sherry
Hello Sherry, Thanks for your your question! You can certainly use dish soap in place of hand soap in your Delta soap dispenser. We advise to avoid thicker soaps if possible as they are more likely to clog the pump mechanism over time. However, you can periodically run water through the plastic pump mechanism itself to help clear any potential blockage. I hope this helps!
