Rated 3 out of 5 by from RUSTED OUT WITHIN A YEAR WE LOVED THIS FAUCET, BUT WITHIN A YEAR, THE MAGNET IN TEH NECK RUSTED OUT SO THAT THE SPRAYER NO LONGER GOES ALL THE WAY UP.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bought it 8/25/18. Unfortunately my GC could not install it until 11/2/18. Found the swivel to be loose and the direction of the spray head was not perpendicular to the sink and sprayed out on the floor. Since we are outside the 60 day window I am at significant loss. I have used fauce direct for other products, but this one did not work out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's plastic You should be aware that the faucet is made of plastic and not metal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great! We have had it for a month and really like it. But the hose is a bit flimsy for a $400 faucet and water pressure and volume could definately be improved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I have been very happy with the faucet and the soap dispenser. And we really like the pull down feature and the spray which allows us to spray the entire sink.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta 9197 Faucet It is a bit larger than we thought reaching past the center drain. Beautiful faucet tho!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install Works well, you will need normal water pressure to get the water blast feature to work correctly though. We are on a well and the water shield around the blast stream just splashes everywhere instead of preventing it.

Can the on/off handle on the Cassidy model be put in front, rather than on either side?

I prefer to have my hot/cold selection be left and right, instead of front and back. Is there any reason why this could not be done?
Asked by: Virginia
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9197-CZ-DST can be turned so that the handle is in the front ranther than on the side. The whole body of the faucet will need to be turned when it is installed.

We recently got this faucet and when you switch the button from spray to stream and vice verse it still drips or sprays a little of the opposite option. If I go and push the button harder it will fix the problem. I’m concerned that eventually it won’t.

Asked by: Annette
Hi, Annette! Thank you for your question. If the sprayer assembly is experiencing cross flow, water coming out of both spray and stream on the sprayer of the 9197-DST, we recommend to soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution for an hour or even overnight. If this does not solve the issue, we recommend to replace the sprayer assembly, RP72680. If you should need assistance with a replacement, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

How do I disassemble to clean the sprayer? It seems to have hard water clog, the spray is all over the place and the pressure is low.

Asked by: Jill
Hi, Jill! Thank you for your question. The sprayer can be unscrewed off of the hose. You can soak the whole sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. You can soak from an hour or even overnight to clean. Best Regards, Rosanna

i like the style of this product, but some reviews suggest that its too big for a 24" wide sink. Is there a smaller similar product?

Asked by: Ronnie
Hi Ronnie, Thank you for your question. We do have a smaller Bar/Prep version of this faucet available, the 9997-DST. http://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/details/9997-dst.html Best regards, Jon

Can someone tell me the vertical distance (space) between the valve and the sink / escutcheon?

Our dishwasher air gap is mounted just a few inches from the hole for the faucet. It's been heck trying to find a faucet that has a right-side control lever that doesn't interfere. This model appear to have a higher mounted control lever but I can't find the measurement in the specifications.
Asked by: Reverberocket
Hi Reverberocket, Thank you for your question. The measurement from the deck to the bottom of the handle assembly/valve on the model 9197-AR-DST is approximately 4-1/2". Thanks, Dave

Which finish looks better with a stainless sink - Arctic Stainless or Polished Nickel?

I am having a difficult time being able to decide based on the online images which of these finishes will look better with a stainless sink. Any advice?
Asked by: Julie
Dear Julie, Thank you for your question. The Arctic Stainless finish will match a stainless sink better than the Polished Nickel finish. What type of metal is used and where?

I have searched all the Q&A answers, and although a couple of people asked what the faucet is made of, the answers given are not specific enough. Exactly what type of metal is used- Brass? Zinc? Zamak? What parts are metal and what parts are plastic? Your website conveniently (actually inconveniently) leaves out all details regarding material which is not a good sign for anyone looking for a quality faucet.
Asked by: DG
Hi DG, Thank you for your question. The faucet body, spout, and handle are metal. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used. In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). Best regards, Jon
