Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install Works well, you will need normal water pressure to get the water blast feature to work correctly though. We are on a well and the water shield around the blast stream just splashes everywhere instead of preventing it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t let the commercials fool you.. This faucet is NOT what you think it is. It’s temperamental to the touch and only works when certain sections of it are touched. It eats batteries like pac-man eats dots. You might be in the middle of washing something off and it suddenly stops. We would give it less than 1 star if possible. The company that did our kitchen has stopped selling it they’ve had so many complaints. What a rip off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looks and great features I've had this for 3 weeks now. I love the precision feel of the handle. I can set the exact temperature needed unlike the kind that work like a joystick. The pull down head stays put with a strong magnet then releases with a light quarter turn in either direction. No need to yank on it like many other brands. The finish cleans up with soap and water. Only thing I would change would be the pex hot and cold lines for braided stainless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good enough Slightly regretting not getting the touchless feature, but other than that it looks good and functions well. Glad I got this model and not one of the taller ones, because even with this we experience splashback on the surrounding countertop. Advice: get an extra weight for the pull down head. As is it comes with one, but it’s not heavy enough for it too snap back in place on its own, it requires coaxing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fashionable and functional I bought this a couple of months ago and it was installed last month as part of a kitchen renovation that included a new sink and counters. So far, I love it. It's fashionable but also very useful for cleaning a variety of items. That's especially useful since I still hand wash a number of things.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks great, functions poorly. This unit is attractive and easy to install. Unfortunately, it seems to have been set at the factory to deliver a very limited flow of hot water, a feature that was very much unappreciated. I attempted to dismantle the thing in order to adjust the mixing valve and obtain hot water and discovered that it apparently cannot be disassembled or adjusted without special tools. It also was obvious that the average homeowner cannot repair or rebuild this faucet. In my opinion, purchase of this faucet was a very bad mistake, as I apparently will never be able to make it operate satisfactorily, and when it starts leaking I will have no option but to replace it. Take my advice and buy something much cheaper but more serviceable. JL, Springfield, Illinois

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A truely exceptional faucet in all respects We remodeled our kitchen and included a new faucet and under mount sink. the faucet is truly a work of art. it looks sleek, operates like a dream with smooth and yet crisp actions. The spray works very well with strong flow and ease of operation. we also love the way the spray head retracts into the arm. All in all a very good selection and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quality faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy installation Well built product and easy to install. My only suggestion is to have the handle on the left side of the faucet. That would make it easier to use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Issues with the magnetic head! The magnetic head need lots of encouragement to reattach. The next issue is the arch of the faucet neck, it protrudes at an odd angle and causes the water to flow past where you would want it to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought on a whim!!! Not sorry we did. Love the maganitized parking for the head. Just sorry we didn't register all the other delta faucets we have. This is the latest, but we figured that the plumber that sold us the others, registered them...This new one is the best, so far... Bill

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faucet looks and works great. Replaced existing faucet as part of a kitchen upgrade with Cassidy model. Installation was done by a plumber since sink and drain piping were also replaced. Faucet hook up was fast and easy. Main reason for choosing this faucet was the magnetic holder on spray head instead of another manufacturers weight system to return the spray head to the docked position. Faucet works great, looks great and I am completely satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attractive Faucet I had searched for a modern and updated look to the faucet in our large kitchen, often feeling everything looked the same. Once I found The Cassidy by Delta I knew I had the look I wanted. Installation was easy for the plumber, thank goodness. Now the problem that has persisted is the UP direction of the handle is not allowing for the hot water. Cold water direction is just fine as well as the lukewarm, but no HOT. There is no obvious adjustment to be made either. Most unfortunate dilemma. The plumber came out again and shook his head perplexed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Cassidy Line I have finally replaced every faucet in three bathrooms, a utility room sink and kitchen with the Cassidy single lever faucets. Two in the Venetian oil rubbed bronze and three in the stainless steel finish. I like the function of the single lever. My husband installed all five faucets without any problems. The bathroom faucets are a forward (cold) and backward (hot) motion. The kitchen faucet is a straight up outward movement for cold and a forward outward movement for hot with varying temps in between. The pull down spray nozzle is a must if you're wanting a spay nozzle. The attached magnate will not forcefully pull the nozzle back in place but serves as a gentle guide in replacing it back in the faucet. The stainless steel finish is perfect for those who want a brushed appearance vs a polished finish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Been using the faucet for a few weeks and like the functionality. Wish the flow/spray button was not black, it would have been nice to have it better match the chrome finish. I did select this faucet because the black button was concealed behind the pull down faucet sprayer and wasn't as visible. Also like the magnet snap and solid feel and fit of all the moving parts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful & All In One! We purchased this over a month ago to install in our new house and I can't wait to see it installed soon! We bought the champagne bronze color to lend a bit more warmth to our kitchen and to match the brass hardware we chose and they look beautiful side by side!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty much love this faucet! We actually purchased this faucet 4 years ago during a kitchen remodel. We love the touch technology! I can't say enough good things about it! Recently, however, I had a problem when something on the sprayer broke. I called Delta and (the faucet is covered by their 5 year warranty) they immediately sent me replacement parts. I'm a 67 year old woman with no plumbing experience, so I was worried if I could make the repair. While the directions that came with the parts could have been clearer, I was able to replace the hose and faucet head. My only concern is that the replacement hose did not seem to be the same quality material as the original hose, but I could be mistaken. Also, an original part that was metal was plastic on the replacement part. Again, maybe that is of no consequence, just an observation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faucet leaks This faucet was purchased when our kitchen was remodeled just over a year ago. Two months ago I noticed that the faucet was leaking. Our plumber took the faucet apart and replaced the inner cartridge/valve which had a crack in it. It cost us just under $100 for the part and labor. Last night I looked under the sink and found that the faucet is leaking again! I'm waiting to hear back from the plumber to see if he recommends replacing the part again or just purchasing a new faucet. We are family of 5 and not being able to use your new kitchen sink/faucet is a huge inconvenience. I would not recommend this faucet.

We recently got this faucet and when you switch the button from spray to stream and vice verse it still drips or sprays a little of the opposite option. If I go and push the button harder it will fix the problem. I’m concerned that eventually it won’t.

Asked by: Annette
Hi, Annette! Thank you for your question. If the sprayer assembly is experiencing cross flow, water coming out of both spray and stream on the sprayer of the 9197-DST, we recommend to soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution for an hour or even overnight. If this does not solve the issue, we recommend to replace the sprayer assembly, RP72680. If you should need assistance with a replacement, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. How do I disassemble to clean the sprayer? It seems to have hard water clog, the spray is all over the place and the pressure is low.

Asked by: Jill
Hi, Jill! Thank you for your question. The sprayer can be unscrewed off of the hose. You can soak the whole sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. You can soak from an hour or even overnight to clean. Best Regards, Rosanna

How to tight the spout? The spout is loose.

Asked by: home12
Thank you for your question, home12! If only the spout feels loose then you may need a new spout retainer, part number RP60923 which can be obtained by contacting the warranty center directly. If the entire faucet is moving, the mounting bracket below the counter will need to be tightened. Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance. Best regards, Edward

Can this faucet be installed with the control on the left?

Asked by: Mike h
Thank you for your question, Mike, Thank you for your question. We recommend installing it with the handle on the right. The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on. The vertical (back) position gives cold water and rotating the handle forward provides hot. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the movement, so if the handle is installed on the left, it will rotate backward. Best regards, Jon
