Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love the look but question the design and quality. Have had the faucet for a number of years and it performed without incident. However, it recently developed a squeaking noise when adjusting the water flow. Quick research showed that the cartridge needed replacement. Getting the bonnet off to replace the part proved nearly impossible. After many hours, I had to removed the entire assembly and soak in vinegar/water mix to loosen. I was able to get the cartridge at Home Depot and replace and reassemble. I guess there is a reason the cartridge is readily available there... if you buy this faucet my experience is that you need to plan on having to do this every few years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't Buy This Type of Faucet This particular model was not very good. Even when it was brand new, it was difficult to shut off, we had to close the valve a few times to get the water to shut off completely. I would NOT recommend purchasing a faucet that has a lever that you pull up on (and then push down on) to turn the water on and off. The up and down motion will eventually loosen the whole lever and you have to re-tighten it (get under the sink) over and over again. And no matter how well you tighten it, it eventually gets loose again. Buy a faucet that has a lever that opens (and closes the water) by moving the lever left to right. I think this particular model definitely had some design flaws.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leaks easily We've had this faucet for less than two years and will need to replace it soon; it's difficult to shut off and has leaked easily from the first day it was installed. Considering how expensive the faucet was, I'm very disappointed with the poor performance. It's not easy to replace this faucet as there are pipes, garbage disposal and water filter under the sink. I'm extremely disappointed at the money and effort I wasted on this faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy install, decent quality This faucet replaced an existing one in a quartz countertop. The unit fit the 1-1/2" holes perfectly, and there were no installation headaches. Initial quality seems good (not sure yet how well it will hold up under heavy use). Only issue we have is that the position for turning off the water flow completely is very narrow and sometimes difficult to find, and thus we find the water dripping often. This will take some getting used to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta 955-DST Victorian Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Terrific faucet with a very nice and easy to clean finish. The mechanism under the counter that helps it go up and down, never fails or gets hung up. Love the magnetic docking. Very easy to use and maneuver. The only drawback is the water pressure is much lower than I am used to. I took the head apart but couldn't find anything restricting the flow. Just be patient when filling the sink for doing dishes. You have plenty of time. Great for filling big pots. I've always preferred Delta faucets because they rarely have to be fixed. I offset the spout to the right to have room for the reverse osmosis faucet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ease of operation Spray and water controls nice. Only issue is swivel of nozzle does not have stop and can allow water to discharge behind faucet

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice kitchen faucet! AND Delta BACKS THEM UP! Bought this faucet 18 months ago. Works great, recently I noticed in order to get it to shut off 100%, I had to keep moving the center handle to EXACTLY the middle to have it not drip? I called Delta to ask them for a possible fix. The customer service rep. knew exactly what I was referring to, got the part, and is sending it today, at NO CHARGE! That is good old fashioned customer service! Thanks Delta!

What is the difference between the 16955-SSSD-DST and the 955-DST

I see the different color options for the finish. Are there any functional differences other than the soap dispenser?
Asked by: Jon
Hi Jon, Thank you for your question. The difference between the model 955-DST and 16955-SSSD-DST is that there is a slight difference in the hub (part under the spout) and that the 16955-SSSD-DST comes with a soap dispenser. The rest of the parts for the 2 models are the same. Thanks, Dave

Is it possible to increase the gpm flow rate of this faucet? If so, what part should be ordered?

Asked by: meb
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 955-RB-DST has a flow rate of 1.8 gpm at 60 psi. We do offer a wand assembly that includes an aerator which will increase the flow rate to 2.2 gpm at 60 psi. That model number is RP51478RB.

Is there a mechanical stop to keep the faucet from swinging beyond the sink?

Asked by: Larry Miller
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 955-DST does swing 360 degress. We do not make anything mechanical to stop it from swinging beyond the sink.

When will the Victorian 955-SS-DST be available with the spray shield technology? Faucet works great, only issue is the water splatter when using spray feature. Looking forward to replacing the faucet head with the spray shield part to eliminate the issue

Asked by: Len69
Thank you for your question, Len69! Model 955-SS-DST is not currently scheduled for a ShieldSpray version however our hoses and wands are all compatible and a ShieldSpray wand from another collection could be used instead. We would suggest a wand from the Leland or Valdosta Collection as not all models are offered in Stainless Steel but would still match in Spotshield Stainless. Best regards, Edward

I HAVE 16995-DST KITCHEN FACET AND HAVE TROUBLE TO STOP RUNNING WATER IN ANY POSITION. AFTER TRYING FEW TIME TURNING OFF IT STOPS. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM AND WHAT SHOULD I DO. IT WAS WORKING GOOD FEW MONTHS.IT JUST STARTED GIVING TROUBLE.

Asked by: VINY
Hi, VINY! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. There is a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Tighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the faucet still leaks, we recommend to replace both the valve cartridge assembly, RP50587, and the bonnet nut, RP51503. Best Regards, Rosanna

Asked by: Jim
Thank you for your question, Jim! The RP51503 includes a v-ring. No other rings are needed for the bonnet. Best regards, Jon

We currently have an Addison model with soap dispenser installed. It has been extremely troublesome. We were wondering if the separate water flow handle fits into the soap dispenser hole? Is there a way to verify that before buying?

Asked by: JamesGerard
Hi, JamesGerard! Thank you for your question. The hole size for the handle on the 955-SS-DST can be between 1 5/16" to 1 1/2" (33 mm to 38 mm). The hole size for the soap dispenser should be 1 3/8" (35 mm). The handle will work in the soap dispenser hole if this was at 1 3/8". Here are links to both technical specifications sheets for both units: https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-955-DST%20Rev%20D.pdf https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-9192T-SD-DST%20Rev%20E.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

I have a Delta 955-DST and the handle apparatus (the valve sleeve assembly) at the base is loose.

We do not have the lavatory wrench. Is this necessary to tighten the assembly so it does not move & scratch my stainless steel sink?
Asked by: Carol
Hi Carol, Thank you for your question. The sleeve assembly on the model 955-DST is only to be screwed on hand tight, you will not need a wrench. Simply screw the trim sleeve on in a clockwise direction, hand tight. Thanks, Dave
