Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet but leaks We’ve been in our home 6 years and already have a leaking faucet. If you do not have the handle in a certain position, the faucet will leak. After doing research, this is a common issue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet but leaks due to control handle This was installed about 6 years ago and initially worked beautifully. The single sprayer was very functional and it was nice having the control off to the side. Unfortunately, over the past year the handle is causing the faucet to leak unless its put in exactly the right position. A quick search shows that this is apparently the fate of all of these faucets and do to that I just can't recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, but... My current house was new construction 4 years ago and I had this faucet installed in my kitchen along with all Delta products in all of my 4 bathrooms. This is my 4th new construction home since 1990 and each and everyone had ALL Delta products. They have always held up beautifully against the daily use of raising a family with many pets. However my kitchen faucet's detached single control handle seems to have a problem shutting off. It's like driving an old standard shift transmission and I'm constantly trying to find reverse. The faucet drips like crazy if I don't get it just right. I used to replace seals and springs when my old faucets would leak, but I can't find a DIY instuction to repair this one and the parts list shows a "Control", but I'm not sure the control is the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Faucet We have had this faucet now for a few years and feel the quality is excellent. We did have a problem after a few years with the faucet cartridge but after contacting customer service they sent a new one and faucet works like new. Cartridge was easy to replace if you have right size allen wrench (set screw key). Soap dispenser is a bit difficult to fill and is also difficult to know when canister is full causing soap overflow. We would recommend this faucet, it has lasted, and still looks as new.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mostly good quality, very nice design. Installed in a new home, double kitchen sink; We have Delta faucets throughout the home. The hose feature is very nice and handy, we use it a lot. But the hose keeps working loose from the head. This requires re-tightening every few weeks to stop it from dripping or coming completely off (which has happened once). The control valve is now starting to leak when the faucet is turned to the "off" position, requiring us to work the handle until we can find a 'spot' that doesn't drip (or actively run). So we have to really pay attention when we turn the water off to make sure we haven't inadvertently left it running. The soap dispenser - well it's kind of cheesy, compared to the ones in our other sinks, which are by comparison both more elegant and robust - the handle on this one is wobbly and the pump stroke is too short - sometimes we have to pump it like a handcar just to get enough soap, even when the reservoir is full. Really, it wouldn't take much of an analysis to see how this could be much better, especially for a kitchen sink, which is almost always the most actively used. Overall, the design is very handsome and we still like it, but these problems are quite irksome & needless to say they detract from our experience.

i want to get matching leland faucet for bar/prep sink but it looks like its not available on stainless?

Asked by: Sara
Hi, 879ol! Thank you for your interest in our Delta Leland faucet. We do have the 9678-SP-DST that is a matching Bar/Prep faucet in our Leland Collection. It is SpotShield Stainless which will match the Brilliance Stainless Steel. We also have the 9978-AR-DST Bar/Prep faucet that is similar in color but it is a brighter, cooler Arctic Stainless finish. Here are the links for both units: https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/9678-SP-DST https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/9978-AR-DST Best Regards, Rosanna

Soap dispenser leaks from the spout. How can I fix this?

I did not install this faucet, it was in place when I bought my apartment but looks fairly new and the faucet works like a charm! However the soap dispenser needs to be pumped 4-5 times for soap to come out (the bottle is full of soap) and then after dispensing, it slowly leaks onto the sink. How can this be fixed? Thank you!
Asked by: Marin
Hi Marin, We are sorry that you are experiencing a problem with your soap dispenser. It sounds like the pump assembly is not working properly. Unfortunately the pump assembly is not available as a separate item. The entire RP50813 soap dispenser will need to be replaced. Thanks, Dave

What is the difference between stainless steel finish, and artic finish. I am interested in the Leland faucet. Thank you

Asked by: Bosco
Hi Bosco, Thank you for your question. There is a slight difference in the finishes of Artic Stainless and Stainless Steel. Artic Stainless more closely resembles the stainless steel appliances that are available for the kitchens in todays markets. It has a bluish tint to it. Stainless Steel has a golder tone to it and more closely matches finishes in the bathroom. Thanks, Dave

Can the spout go on the left and the soap dispenser on the right? Also, which gasket goes under the spout?

Asked by: Jim
Jim, Thanks for your question. Delta Faucet model # 978-SSSD-DST can have the soap dispenser, handle and spout in any order that you would like to choose. Also the white gasket will go under the spout. Thanks. Jody

Why is the water pressure so much lower with this new faucet and how can I fix that?

Asked by: Rick
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 978-SSSD-DST has a flow rate of 1.8 gpm at 60 psi. This is the flow rate that adheres to the regulations. We do not recommend trying to increase the water flow.

I am looking for the bottle only.

Asked by: Norma
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 978-SSSD-DST contains a soap dispenser that cannot be separated into parts for purchase. If you need to replace the bottle, you will need to replace the whole soap dispenser with model # RP50813SS.

Is the soap dispenser top load or under the sink?

Asked by: Gail
the soap dispenser is a top load - you need to wait before putting the dispenser back on in order to allow air bubbles to surface
