Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good for nothing I had the tap dismantled from the electrical features because it turned off when I looked at it. It has been working well for sometimes with out that feature, but now it has decided to work to its own drum beat, slow, dribble, full pressure mostly not working.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid touch feature This faucet worked great for the first six months. For the last year, I have lived under the sink trying to get it to work. The faucet wouldn’t turn on or off at all for several months or would work on and off as it wanted to. I rewired everything, that lasted 2 weeks. Today, I bypassed the solenoid and manually connected the faucet and it works great. All electronics have been properly disposed of. If you like to work under the sink or are working on a plumbing journeyman license, I highly recommend Delta’s touch technology kitchen faucets. Otherwise, save your money and time. It will quit on you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just stopped working If would stop sporadically and then start again....Changed batteries a couple of times... but it just stopped working, and on a Friday. Had no kitchen faucet for the weekend when I do my preparation for the week. And of course it does not have a lifetime guarantee ..... What a bad product... DO NOT GET IT!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wish I had not bought this faucet We had this touch faucet installed 6 months ago and it was fine at first, but recently it has become difficult. Sometimes, seemingly at random, it won't turn on when we move the handle to the on position. This is very annoying when we need to do the dishes. I just want to have a normal, old-fashioned faucet installed. I want to trade it for one that responds to my turning on the faucet, reliably, every time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate it! I succumbed to a salesman pitch when I bought this faucet. Big mistake. I agree with another reviewer. It shuts off randomly. It shuts off any time I go to pull the sprayer down to use. It needs new batteries at least once a year and I only use my vacation home seasonally. To be fair, I LOVE Delta faucets and I would definitely buy another Delta - I have been purchasing them for years and have never been disappointed before this one. I have a "dumb" faucet that is identical to this one minus the technology for my prep sink and I love it! I would not waste my money on a "smart" faucet again. In fact, I'd gladly trade the smart one straight up for a dumb one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Bought this faucet a month ago and it was great at first. Now the water turns on at random and will intermittently shut off while we are using it. It will also turn on automatically when another faucet in the house is turned on.

When I first installed the touch worked perfectly. Now, when I touch the faucet, the Light goes off instantaneously, but the water stops flowing after about 4 seconds. It used to be instant. I have changed the batteries with no change. Only 1 month old

Asked by: Bobby J
Hi, Bobby J! Thank you for your question, andI am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. I am happy to help you. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode comes from debris inside the solenoid. You may flush the solenoid by following these next steps. 1. Turn the water supply by putting your handle in the manual off position. 2. Disconnect the sprayer hose by removing the blue retaining clip. 3. Place a bucket under the male adapter coming out from the solenoid. 4. Run water into the bucket for 2-3 minutes. Debris located inside the solenoid should be flushed out after completing these steps. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

Hi it's very hard to set proper temperature on the handle, it's either hot red & when I touch the handle right it turns cold. I have to play some time to reach warm water. I bought it 1 year ago & it was working ok at the beginning.

Asked by: Darek
Hi, Darek! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. Since there is not a good mix and the water is either all hot or all cold, we do recommend to change the valve cartridge assembly, RP50587. Can I get a Pilar pull down kitchen faucet without touch20?

I have a customer request for the Pilar pull down kitchen faucet without the touch20 technology with the arctic stainless finish. Is this available? Could I have the model number to order it? Thank you
Asked by: boyerdon
Dear Boyerdon, Thank you for your question. The Delta Pilar Pull-Down Touch2O Technology 980T-SSSD-DST faucet model is discontinued. We do not manufacture this model without the touch feature. The Delta Leland Pull-Down Kitchen 978-AR-DST faucet would be the closest designed matching model. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/978-AR-DST Best regards, Tanya

How do I change the batteries?

Asked by: Jen
Thank you for your question, Jen. The batteries are located in a box that is placed under the sink. To access the batteries, squeeze the tabs on the sides of the cap and pull it off. Best regards, Jon

On the included soap dispenser, does the top come off to refill, or do you have to unscrew the lower bottle

Our current faucet does, and both my wife and I love that. I would love if this one did. I am just curious if that was the case. thank you
Asked by: Archangelgman26
Hi Archangelgman26, Thanks for your question! The head and pump assembly can be removed in order to fill the bottle from above the sink. We recommend using a vented funnel so that air can escape as soap enters the bottle. Best regards, Jon

The water pressure is limited, is there an alternate aerator or other options to increase flow?

Brand new faucet, other fixtures in the kitchen (sink, pot filler) have much greater water pressure. is there an aerator that I can replace the stock aerator with to increase the flow? Or another part that restricts water pressure?
Asked by: GOBlueGW
Dear GOBlueGW, Thank you for your question! The Delta Pilar Pull-Down Kitchen 980T-SSSD-DST has a designed flow of rate of 1.80 GPM at 60 PSI. There is no internal parts or adapters to increase or decrease the flow. Best regards, Tanya

My new faucet temp light stays red for both hot and cold water

Just installed new 980T-DST and when water is running the temp light is only red no matter if the water is hot or cold.
Asked by: Tiff
Hi, Tiff! Thank you for your question. The solid red light on the LED light base indicates that batteries need to be replaced. Best Regards, Rosanna

Very low flow, can't figure out how to remove and clean?

Installed one year ago and now wanting to check for dirt etc as water flow is very low. Worried about damaging parts and cannot see or feel how to remove the screen/filter?
Asked by: Muscles
Hi, Muscles! Thank you for your question. There is an aerator in your sprayer has an aerator that is cached. You will need a special wrench to remove this cache aerator. The wrench is RP52217.
