Rated 1 out of 5 by from problems from the start Bought it one year ago at HD. After plumber installed it, a month later it wouldn't turn on. Emailed Delta, they gave me 6 'Try This' things to do. None worked. Moving wires around turns it on and off from under the sink.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pilar Touch20 Water Flow issues This product was great at first, but it did not last to its promised quality or brand. I have been having low pressure and intermittent water switch on/off issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Solenoid simple stooped working After two years, the solenoid has stopped working and there is no option to use it by isolating the solenoid. If you choose this faucet think of a "contouring solution" in case you have problems. Brand and price have inspired me a reliable faucet, but improvements are still needed. Consumption of batteries is also high and now it will be difficult to find a faucet of another brand that fit into my sink.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Magnets rusted Loved this faucet. Touch technology is awesome when your hands are soiled or full. I don't want ro live without it now. My one complaint is that the magnets that hold the pull down faucet in pkace have rusted and broken. Would love to be able to fix or replace.

Can I get a Pilar pull down kitchen faucet without touch20?

I have a customer request for the Pilar pull down kitchen faucet without the touch20 technology with the arctic stainless finish. Is this available? Could I have the model number to order it? Thank you
Asked by: boyerdon
Dear Boyerdon, Thank you for your question. The Delta Pilar Pull-Down Touch2O Technology 980T-SSSD-DST faucet model is discontinued. We do not manufacture this model without the touch feature. The Delta Leland Pull-Down Kitchen 978-AR-DST faucet would be the closest designed matching model. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/978-AR-DST Best regards, Tanya

How do I change the batteries?

Asked by: Jen
Thank you for your question, Jen. The batteries are located in a box that is placed under the sink. To access the batteries, squeeze the tabs on the sides of the cap and pull it off. Best regards, Jon

On the included soap dispenser, does the top come off to refill, or do you have to unscrew the lower bottle

Our current faucet does, and both my wife and I love that. I would love if this one did. I am just curious if that was the case. thank you
Asked by: Archangelgman26
Hi Archangelgman26, Thanks for your question! The head and pump assembly can be removed in order to fill the bottle from above the sink. We recommend using a vented funnel so that air can escape as soap enters the bottle. Best regards, Jon

The water pressure is limited, is there an alternate aerator or other options to increase flow?

Brand new faucet, other fixtures in the kitchen (sink, pot filler) have much greater water pressure. is there an aerator that I can replace the stock aerator with to increase the flow? Or another part that restricts water pressure?
Asked by: GOBlueGW
Dear GOBlueGW, Thank you for your question! The Delta Pilar Pull-Down Kitchen 980T-SSSD-DST has a designed flow of rate of 1.80 GPM at 60 PSI. There is no internal parts or adapters to increase or decrease the flow. Best regards, Tanya

My new faucet temp light stays red for both hot and cold water

Just installed new 980T-DST and when water is running the temp light is only red no matter if the water is hot or cold.
Asked by: Tiff
Hi, Tiff! Thank you for your question. The solid red light on the LED light base indicates that batteries need to be replaced. Best Regards, Rosanna

Very low flow, can't figure out how to remove and clean?

Installed one year ago and now wanting to check for dirt etc as water flow is very low. Worried about damaging parts and cannot see or feel how to remove the screen/filter?
Asked by: Muscles
Hi, Muscles! Thank you for your question. There is an aerator in your sprayer has an aerator that is cached. You will need a special wrench to remove this cache aerator. The wrench is RP52217. Here is a link to show you this part: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP52217 Best Regards, Rosanna

Can the faucet arc be made less wide?

The spout seems to be facing a bit too far out. As a result, water splashes / sprays on the user and surrounding area. Can the faucet be bent so that the arc is smaller (spout would be pointed in a more downward position, more into the sink itself)? If this can not be done, is there another Delta option you could recommend? Note: our contractor installed the faucet a few weeks ago but we didn't start using it until recently.
Asked by: Kevin
Hi, Kevin! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we don't have a way to bend the spout so that the sprayer can point more into your sink. We have several different faucets with pull down faucets that may work with your sink. Here is a link to some that are available: https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/sink-faucets/single-handle Best Regards, Rosanna

Can I disable touch feature and use the faucet as a regular one?

Asked by: William
Dear William, Thank you for your question. Yes, the Touch2O® Technology can be bypassed for manual use of the faucet. Directions can be found in the Maintenance/Installation paperwork, labelled Manual Bypass. https://media.deltafaucet.com/QuickstartDiagram/QS-76079%20Rev%20C.pdf Best regards, Tanya
