Touch it on. Touch it off. Whether you have two full hands or 10 messy fingers, Delta® Touch2O® Technology helps keep your faucet clean, even when your hands aren’t. A simple touch anywhere on the spout or handle with your wrist or forearm activates the flow of water at the temperature where your handle is set. The Delta TempSense™ LED light changes color to alert you to the water’s temperature and eliminate any possible surprises or discomfort. Delta® MagnaTite® Docking uses a powerful integrated magnet to pull your faucet spray wand precisely into place and hold it there so it stays docked when not in use. Delta® faucets with DIAMOND™ Seal Technology perform like new for life with a patented design which reduces leak points, is less hassle to install and lasts twice as long as the industry standard*. Kitchen faucets with Touch-Clean® Spray Holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. You can install with confidence, knowing that Delta faucets are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty. Electronic parts are backed by our 5-year electronic parts warranty. *Industry standard is based on ASME A112.18.1 of 500,000 cycles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great and works great The faucet looks great and work great. It definitely take some to get use to the touch sensor. Once gotten used, you will try to touch every faucet to turn on water. 1 year into it - the solenoid seem gone bad - the water won't shut off. A call to Delta customer support, they shipped out a new solenoid for free and it was very easy to replace. 3 years into it - the magnet of the hose unit was corroded to a point the hose unit doesn't stay attached to main faucet anymore. A call to Delta customer support, they shipped out new magnet with tool to replace it and all is good. So far delta customer support has been great about sending new part for free to address any issue. I'm glad that they continue to honor the lifetime warranty of the unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great I bought this faucet in the chrome color and we really like how great it looks. The On/Off touch functionality works really well and you can change the temperature or flow of the water without the faucet shutting off. I am glad that Delta put thought into that. One thing to note about the chrome is that when you do use the on/off touch feature your natural skin oils will leave imprints on the chrome itself so you will have to clean the chrome more than say, nickel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Is this faucet haunted or what? I’ve been using this faucet for months. It coms on when I put a knife or fork in the sink. It goes off without me touching anything at all. Yesterday it came on when I walked by. Today it’s not coming on at all. The light is red. Surely the batteries aren’t dead in 3 months. I wish I knew how to turn it into a manual faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pure frustration We bought a (2 yo) house with this faucet already installed in the kitchen. It worked fine for the first month, but then it started. The water flow would stop by itself, then start running again, then stop. Now, it does not respond to the touch at all, but only by pulling the sprayer down really strong. So frustrating. You are better off with a regular no-touch faucet.

Can this faucet be placed in permanent bypass mode? Looking to eliminate the tap mode

Asked by: sttarks
Hi, sttarks. Thank you for your question. The Delta 9959T-AR-DST faucet touch function can be manually bypassed. To do this, first turn the water off at your water supply for your faucet. Under the sink, you will see the solenoid assembly with two water lines coming from the bottom and top of the solenoid. These are connected with two blue clips. Remove the two clips to remove the whole solenoid assembly. Connect the two lines together and secure this connection with one of the blue clips. Pull the connection to make sure the connection is tightly secured. Please contact us back if you should need further assistance. Best Regards, Rosanna

Time to replace our existing Delta faucet (had it for 25 years!) - which has a 12” high arc. I am worried that the Trinsic 15.5” kitchen faucet will be too big. I have an Elkay double sink that is only 9” deep on main side and only 7” on the smaller.

Asked by: Katie
Hi, Katie! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9959T-DST Bar/Prep faucet is slightly smaller than the full-size kitchen faucet, 9159T-DST. The 9959T-DST Bar/Prep faucet is 13" and the full-size kitchen faucet, 9159T-DST, is 15 11/16". Here is a link to the technical specifications sheet that will show the measurements for both units: https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-9159T-DST%20Rev%20E.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the best way to clean the faucet in the champagne bronze finish?  Any recommended products?

Asked by: rebecca408
Hello Rebecca408, Thank you for your inquiry! The cleaning care information for your Delta Trinsic Touch2O Bar/Prep Pull-down Kitchen 9959T-CZ-DST faucet, per the warranty, recommends to always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes. Avoid bleach-based cleaners. Best regards, Tanya

Model #9959T is leaking above the sink at the spout assembly (rp71655)meets the the retainer(rp60923). What is the repair?

Asked by: Dave
Hi, Dave! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. If the faucet is leaking at the spout retainer, we would recommend to replace the hose assembly, since the water travels through the hose assembly, itself. The hose assembly part number is RP80522. Here is a link to the part: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP80522 Best Regards, Rosanna
