Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great warranted service The touch system had not been functioning properly since the faucet was first installed and the LED stopped working so it was time to all Tech support. They promptly sent me a redesigned selenoid part and battery holder that was easy to replace on my own. The faucet works better than when was installed by the plumber!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I bought 3 of these about 3 years ago. One for laundry room, 2 in kitchen and now one in granny flat. I need to replace the batteries (super easy) about once a year. Large family, lots of parties. The laundry room I still haven't hooked up to auto touch but it works perfectly without it manually. I seriously go to other peoples houses and keep trying to touch their faucet with the back of my dirty hands lol.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Three years and out it went! We had this model installed four years ago in a kitchen remodel and for a good year it was problem free. Once we replaced the batteries the problems began. I called Delta for help and moved the battery pack so many times under my sink it became a joke. I gave up when I needed water and could not get the faucet to work. My regular plumber who I should have consulted before my remodel and unfortunately did not use, told me that he personally replaced dozens of these type of faucets since he felt the technology was poor and unreliable. I took his advice and replaced it for a conventional one handle faucet and it has been problem free for well over a year. No more Delta products for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Touch not reliable Have had faucet for 3 years and it recently started to malfunction. Have heard of others with similar issues and watched video on how to "reboot" the faucet. This works for a day or two and then it stops working again. The water simply stops coming out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not reliable This faucet is less than 3 years old. The touch technology only works sometimes. Buyers beware.... Imagine you are standing at your kitchen sink, trying to get your water to tun on with "Touch Technology" and with raw food covering your hands. Knowing that everything you touch from here is going to get contaminated since this unreliable product is faulty and you are unable to wash your hands. The idea is great but obviously it is not ready for market. Save yourself the frustration and buy something else!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice looking Faucet but does not work Had this faucet installed when we had our house built about a year ago. Was installed by a professional plumber. First thing we noticed was that the light did not work as advertised. Just recently the faucet just stopped working, no water, no light. Assumed the batteries were out but did not understand why you could not manually operate the faucet using the handle. Replaced the batteries and it started working again, manually and touch but still no lights. Paid a light of money for a very POOR quality product. Very disappointed in Delta.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love it, when it works! I am not exactly sure what the problem is but our touch faucet is very touchy! Sometimes it won't work at all, other times it works great. I don't feel like it eats through batteries. When it stops working that is usually the first thing we check. The box under the sink (cellinoid?) seems to do better if we jostle it around a bit we can get it work again but only for a day or so.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stylish but leaks a little after turning off I bought this earlier this month. It is beautiful but when utilizing the auto touch activation it leaks/drips for a few moments after you shut it off. It does not do this if you do not use the auto feature

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This is a lovely faucet that doesn't work after eight months. This Delta faucet was fun to play with at first, but it isn't at all reliable. The first thing to go was the blue light that told me the cold water was on. The red light would come on for both hot and cold water, but especially for hot water. Sometimes the faucet turned on by itself, perhaps because the fern on my sink touched it. The final straw, though, is that the faucet now doesn't turn on at all. I've changed the batteries, but as a single woman who is not very mechanical, that is all I understand to do. I have spent a lot of money buying this faucet, paying to have it installed, and now calling a plumber tomorrow to fix it. I wish I hadn't bought it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gimmicky tech failed within a year - happened to my kitchen sink and bathroom faucet (different model) At first, the touch technology sounded like a great idea. Unfortunately, this faucet isn't reliable and durable. After about six months, the water stopped flowing properly (very low water pressure - literally a trickle). After a few minutes of leaving the water running or touching the faucet multiple times to shut it on and off- wasting water and time - the water sometimes starts to flow. I emailed delta, and these were the instructions they sent: 1. Remove the wand from the hose and check the flow. 2. If you still have low flow, remove the hose from the solenoid. 3. If you still have low flow, remove the solenoid and check the debris screen at the top. 4. If you still have low flow, keeping your solenoid off turn the faucet back on. didn't work. can't seem to figure out how to fix this, and now that the low flow/trickle is happening to my bathroom faucet, i've grown to hate this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lack luster performance I bought my faucet in 2013 when I remodeled my kitchen. It worked well up until a few months ago. The water would run great, then when turned off it wouldn't turn back on. I changed the batteries twice and at worked fine. However, as of late, it's consistently been failing. Last night it stopped working and now is only dripping. I know it can't be the battery because they're new. This is becoming an increasingly frustrating situation. Top of the line faucet that is giving a below average performance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Touch 20 Technology disappointing! To have the capability to 'touch' the faucet on without cross contamination was a major selling point but the technology is disappointing. (I purposely didn't complete this survey until I'd used the faucet for a time.) I have gone through 24 batteries in less than 6 months. Half the time, the faucet just WILL NOT COME ON AT ALL! It turns off in the middle of using it, then will not turn back on. Heck, in the instructions, it even states that the solenoid (the device that makes it a touch faucet) may have to be disconnected for the faucet to work. My advice, don't buy this. We saved and saved to buy this overpriced faucet, then paid a plumber $45 an hour to install it. What a waste of money. I'll never buy Delta again!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Honest review 2 month review of the Delta Ashton Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet featuring Touch2O® Technology. I am writing this review from the stand point of a product designer/ home owner. 2 months ago I purchased the Delta Ashton. I found several positive and negative features about the faucet. Positives: -The look and feel of the material finish is excellent. -Finger prints are not major issue -The layout and assembly of the water line are quality -The customer service is good - The water always default to a low flow setting which is nicely pair with a boost button for filling pots of water. -the touch sensor “Touch2O® Technology” has a 4 minute shut off. I like to put the faucet on a slow trickle to fill my Brita pitcher and walk away. Now for the Bad In my mind this bad out ways the good, it is downright shameful. Please decide for yourself. Negative -out of the box the touch sensor did not work. The sink would randomly turn on and off. So I called Delta, they kindly walked me through a series of trouble shooting steps. (very nice people on the phone) It turns out a bad group of sensors maid it out of the factory. It took 3 weeks to get the new part. So that meant I paid a plumber twice. So we are at $300 bucks to install. -I get a call from delta to see how the part was doing, which is very nice. I ask the phone tech how long does this part last and how much is it? She said the sensor part is $140, if it is under warranty it is free, and if it is not and you own the faucet it is around $70. So how long does it last? Well if your water is hard or dirty about 2 year, or if it is clean it is about 5. So my Delta faucet with a “Touch2O® Technology” has a consumer cost of about $150 labor plus $70 parts, if I am luck about every 3.5 years. So all the money saved in water is just sent back to delta plus some. This is return on investment is awful, and sad. Conclusion Buyer Beware! Delta mostly makes good products, and stands behind them. But the “Touch2O® Technology” is not worth any investment. Save your money and more immortally your time and just get the faucet without the “Touch2O® Technology” you will not be disappointed. The “Touch2O® Technology” part should not cost more than $20 bucks to make by this point. It is not like Delta was planning for them to last more than 5 years in an ideal setting, or where they? When the part breaks again I will update this review with a time. Also I will not replace the “Touch2O® Technology”. The faucet will just be a standard delta, or maybe I will just switch it out with a different brand. It will depend on how much it bothers me to look at it. With its “Touch2Infuriate® Technology” This was Written 7/29/2015

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inconsisentent performance The faucet looks great and worked fine for the first year. After changing the batteries, it has become possessed. It turns on by itself or shuts off abruptly when you need the water running. I contacted Delta and the customer service rep was helpful. The faucet then worked fine for about three weeks. Then it went back to its erratic behavior. I tried changing batteries, resetting, leaving unplugged for two days, changing the batteries again...nothing seems to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this faucet I really like this touch faucet. it was easy to install for the plumber and very easy to use. It sometimes is a little too sensitive when cleaning up around the sink (comes on when washcloth touches it when I wipe the counter) otherwise is the best I have ever had.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice idea when it works Initially we liked the faucet. A bit pricey for the touch on/off feature but I could see how it could spoil you. This was for the first month. Then it started to stay on all the time. I removed it and reinstalled it following the directions (because that's how I do everything). It worked for about a day, then back to the old never turning off by touch. I changed the batteries, unplugged wires and replugged them in and sometimes it works for one or two times then back to the old never turning off. The blue light works great when touched, the valve doesn't do anything. The faucet design is very nice but I'm very disappointed in the touch technology and wouldn't recommend it. For half the price and no crawling under the sink every other day to trying to make it work, a regular faucet is the way to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Definately glad we went with the touch start/stop! Quick delivery and condition were excellent. The counter top installer indicated no problems. The touch start / stop works great so far after a month. Probably saving water with this feature. Decided to try it although there were some reviews indicating problems. Figured we could always just take out the batteries if there were issues, but really like this feature. The 'arctic ss' finish is very nice and the design is excellent. The different spray options work great, although not sure if 'fast fill' is that much faster. The only issue is the retractable nozzle; not very automatic, but can deal with it. Perhaps it needs more weights. Would give it a '4.5' if allowed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice faucet i was excited to get this faucet for a christmas present, but for the price just a regular faucet would have worked better. the touch faucet sometimes comes on without being asked and then you always need to touch it to change the temperature, washing your hands to getting a drink. the style is really nice and i do like the pull out head with spray, but not really sold on the touch part.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wasn't initially sure but now I couldn't think of anything better We were remodeling the kitchen and my wife fell in love with this faucet. Who does that? Not me. That's what I told the sales guy at Home Depot -- when he showed us this THE MOST EXPENSIVE thing that just dispenses hot and cold water. Or so I thought. Turns out, this actually saves me money. It turns itself off after running 2 minutes and not being touched. If only I could get the shower replaced to do that. Installation was a no-brainer - I left it to the professional plumber. This faucet never fails to impress guests when they try to turn it on. All the women want it. All the guys shrug and have another beer. All good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This faucet works great! The faucet works great after we figured out you need to turn it off every now and then. It would stop working until we realized we needed to turn it off and turn off the water. Once we started turning it off, we didn't have any more problems with it! Definately worth the price!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install and works great This faucet is a replacement for a single-handle faucet in a granite counter top. The installation instructions were easy to follow making the actual installation a breeze. Total time to install was under 30 minutes. The faucet works great and is a joy to use. The faucet can distinguish between a "touch" and a "hold" so that you can swivel the faucet without turning it on or off. Another nice feature is that the flow volume and water temperature can remain constant. The three settings on the pull-out head provide options of a water-saving flow, a shower, and a full-pressure flow. One of the best features is unseen, and that is the weight that is used on the under-counter portion of the pull-out flexible water tube. The weight is in the shape of doughnut so that it "rolls" on the tube rather than clamps on thereby allowing the pull-out head to extend and retract effortlessly. Great job Delta! Now if you only had an equivalent faucet for the lavatory sink all would be well in the world. Canuck

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love love love! I absolutely LOVE my Delta Touch faucet! We remodeled our kitchen and this was a must have item for me. Our family and friends are intrigued when they see me using it for the first time. It has really been a great feature with the hands free technology while cooking chicken or meat and you want to wash your hands off without touching every surface in the kitchen to do so. The kids love it and we are considering putting the hands free bathroom faucets in for them. This is definitely one of my favorite tech pieces in the kitchen and my husband is the one into that stuff...I will not go back to a traditional faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marvelous product-we love it!! We replace our old style faucet (one faucet with two twist handles for hot and cold) with this touch product. It is so much more convenient and the touch feature is the best!! When my hands are covered with food prep 'stuff' being able to just touch with a wrist or non dirty portion of my hand to turn on the water is unbelievably cool and convenient. Love the design, it makes our kitchen appear much more modern, a major improvement. Would recommend this to everyone!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product Excellent product and works just as it is advertised. What was a bit surprising is how nicely it is designed to allow for easy installation. The extra long supply lines really make installation in tight areas like kitchen cabinets a snap. The touch on/off feature is slick!!!

Can this faucet be used on an under mount sink?

Asked by: Kathy
Yes. I don't see any reason why not. The faucet only requires one hole in the counter top. If you have three holes, there is an escutcheon included with the faucet that will allow it to adapt. I currently installed this faucet in a Corian countertop with a seamless Corian sink basin.

Can faucet be used with an escutcheon?

The size of the bar/prep faucet best suits the space in our oral surgery instrument sterilization area, but we will need an escutcheon. Can one be purchased separately and used with this faucet?

Thank you for your inquiry, Jennifer M! The Delta Addison Bar/Prep 9992T-AR-DST faucet is designed as a single only hole installation. However, the RP47274AR can be used with 8" (203 mm) Centers installation. Best regards, Tanya

Is the Home Depot version identical to the showroom version?

I have seen reports that the larger "retail stores" (Home Depot, Lowes, etc) version has slightly different finishes to allow different pricing. Is the Home Depot version similar, or is it identical to the version provided to plumbing specialty stores? I am definitely going with this faucet, I just want to know if I should buy it from a plumbing store instead of Home Depot.

Hi Chris, Thank you for your question. If the model number in this case model 9992-RB-DST is the same at Home Depot and a plumbing specialty store that faucet is exactly the same faucet. Thanks, Dave
