I am getting frustrated by replacing seats and springs for this faucet. It will last for a day or 2 then the drip starts again. Sometimes the faucet still runs when closed although when I inch it forward, it appears to shut off.
I am looking to see if replacing the stems will help. Can you confirm this? Is the stem part #RP20496? Reading online comments point to the seats and springs but, as I stated above, this only solves the issue temporarily. I have only had the faucet for 2 years and it worked perfectly for a year and a half. I have replaced the seats and springs at least 6 times.
Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. There is a supplier code on the back of the faucet that will tell which replacement stem unit assemblies you would need. If your supplier code is 413763, you will need RP64760. If your supplier code is 449918, you will need RP24096 and RP4993 seal kit. Here is a parts diagram to show you where the supplier code is on the faucet:

Delta Mandara 25962LF-SS - why handles backwards?
Had someone install this for me. Faucets turn on by pushing back instead of pulling forward. Is that correct or are they on backwards?
They should swing toward you. one quarter turn is full on.
