My plumber installed the hot and cold handle bases backwards -- the screw is in the front instead of the back. Does this mean the entire hot/cold assemblies have been reversed?
Is this easy to reverse, or should I call the plumber back?
Hi Rick, Thank you for your question. If the handle motion is functioning properly, full on at 6 o-clock, off at 3 and 9 o-clock the fix should not require the plumber. You can loosen the set screw on the handle base, rotate the handle base 180 degrees, and retighten the set screw to solve the issue. If the handle motion is not correct, call the plumber.
