Installation Information

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase I had a choice of spending $200 or more on a new faucet or fixing the drip for less than $40. It worked out beautifully. Not being mechanical I really felt a sense of accomplishment and pride that I fixed the leak and saved money at the same time.

RP12301 replacement needed

I need to replace this to fix leak in faucet. What can be substituted? Why did you discontinue a part that is critical to operation of the faucet?
Asked by: Don
Hi Don, Thank you for your question. The RP12301 can be replaced by the RP70 ball assembly. Thanks, Dave

Water leaking from small holes on top of ball.

I have a Delta 550PB handi lav in polished brass. I have a leak that I thought was the white RP61 cam and packing. I replaced that and it still leaks out the top and runs out under the handle. After further inspection the leak is coming out of a small hole in the RP12301 ball. I can't find the ball in the store. How do I fix the leak? Thx
Asked by: Dcuny
Hi Dcuny, Thank you for your question. It sounds like you need to replace the ball assembly. Since the RP12301 is no longer available you will want to use the RP70 to fix the issue. Thanks, Dave

replacement for rp12301

what is the replacement part for this one
Asked by: chick
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP12301 is discontinued because we now have check valves in the faucets that would have used the vacuum breaker ball. If your municipality requires the addition of a vacuum breaker, you can pick on up at your local retailer or wholesaler.
