do you have a single shower handle that controls pressure and temp.?
Remodeling bathroom and we now have what looks like the Delta RP17451 that controls both the volume (pressure) and the temperature. We really like that and want one that does the same thing. Not exactly the modern look I want now but if you could give me other models that does this I would appreciate it. Otherwise if this handle and mechanism is all that's available, we will go with that.
Hi Cindy, Thank you for your question. The RP17451 handle would be used on our 1300/1400 or T13/T14 series faucets depending on the age of the faucet. These single handle faucets control temperature only. Any of our current T13/T14 series trims will work on your current rough in valve but if your faucet is older than February 2006 you will have to continue to use the existing cartridge. If you want separate temperature and volume control you will want to look at our T17 series faucets.

The knob I need to replace has a roughly rectangular fitting hole on the inside (the top and bottom are flat, while the ends are curved out).
Part RP17451. Can you confirm if this is the same as this knob? Thanks!
Hi Zeke, Thank you for your question. The RP17451 is not the correct handle that you need, it has a diamond shaped hole. The H71 handle is the one that you need. This handle has the opening with 2 flat and 2 rounded sides.

Replacement faucet handles
We need a set of handles for a wide bathtub faucet. The present faucets have M 15 molded into the back and the faucet shaft is round with a flat on one side and a threaded hole in the end. The outside (installed) appearance of the faucet is like Delta pn RP17451.
What are the correct part numbers for the Hot and Cold handles and where can I purchase them?
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. The H61 handles are the acrylic knob handles used on the roman tub faucets. The RP17451 handle was used on our 600 series tub/shower valves, this handle would not be compatible with your valve. You can order the H61 handles online or from your local retailer or wholesaler that sells Delta products.

Can I replace my old single-handle tub/shower handle to another style
I have an old single-handle delta tub/shower assembly and would like to up date it without replacing all of the hardware. I would have to tear out my tile to get access to it. Do you have any suggestions? Other handles or replacement units that would not require removing all of the hardware?
Thanks so much for your help
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP17451 is used on our 600 series faucets. We do offer a renovation kit to upgrade your 600 series to a lever handle. The kits is available in Chrome, Venetian Bronze, and Stainless Steel. The model number is RP54870. This will include everything to upgrade your 600 series except the shower arm and flange, showerhead, and tub spout.
This way you can keep your valve and just upgrade the trim.
