I need an aerator that has a housing that is made from either a low lead brass or a different parent material than leaded brass. Do these exist? If so what is your part number? This is for compliance with the Safe Water Drinking Act. The aerator is the only wetted metal part in your system. Thanks.
Hi Dan, Thank you for your question. Low lead law mandates that the weighted average lead content in pipes, fittings and fixtures used to convey drinking water
cannot exceed 0.25% on wetted surfaces. Most all aerators will have some brass in the housing. All of our faucets are compliant with the new legislation, but we do not have an aerator that meets your requirements.
