I have a 2300 series 2 handle shower. I need to replace the housing asembly rp19805

I do not know how to get the lower housing assembly rp19805 out of the housing? Does it just pull out?
Asked by: otto
Hi Otto, Thank you for your question. After the sleeve assembly has been removed, you should be able to pull the the housing assembly straight out. It may help to wiggle it back and forth. If it seem stuck, you can also try soaking it in white vinegar to help dissolve any mineral buildup. Best regards, Jon

2 Handle Monitor 2300 Shower Valve 19805 water inlets seem too short and wide 4 valve appears similar to bottom half of 19804-blue part.  RP46074 is RP19804 w/longer more narrow water inlets   Is there a longer narrower version of 19805?

Asked by: Susan
Hello Susan, Thank you for your inquiry! The bottom housing of the MultiChoice 14 Series RP46074 Cartridge assembly is not sold as a separate part. We do not manufacture or sell a narrower RP19805 part. The RP19805 housing assembly is the correct part for the older 2300 series shower faucet. Please see page 7 of the below Maintenance/Installation link. Best regards, Tanya Best regards, Tanya

how do i remove the old one to get the new one in?

Asked by: gene
Hi Gene! Thanks for your question! I will be attaching a video to show how the parts would be removed. If you have trouble getting any of the pieces out, you can try soaking them with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water overnight. I hope this helps! Here is the video:
