Installation Information

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits fine and seals well. This also fits the Single Handle Waterfall faucet, needing both O-rings to seal the spout to the base. Old ones started leaking after 15 years. Pulled off old ones and slipped new ones right on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta "O" Rings I stopped a slow leak in my kitchen faucet with the Delta RP22934 "O" Rings and the Delta RP21463 fitting. Simple to replace and they worked - and I'm not a maintenance kind of guy.

Follow up to Steve's question about removing the spout to change the O rings

Please explain what you mean when you say, "Push down on the spout and then gently pry open and remove the spout retainer." I do not want to damage the spout. Where am I supposed to put pressure on when "pushing down on it"? Also what do you mean by prying open the spout retainer? Thanks
Asked by: emma
Thank you for your question, Emma. Once you slide the Sleeve up, you will see the white Spout Retainer around the base of the spout. This piece has a split or gap in it that you can pry open. This will allow you to remove the tab on the inside of the Spout Retainer from the slot on the spout. Since the tab could be pinched, you may need to press downward on the spout before removing the retainer. You can then swivel the spout back and forth as you lift up on it to slide it off. Best regards, Jon

Hi Tom, Thank you for your question! Our Delta O-rings come pre-lubricated from the factory. We do not recommend adding additional lubrication. Best regards, Brandis

do I have to shut the water supply to change the o rings?

Asked by: Rosario
Hi Rosario, Thank you for your question. The RP22934 o-ring is used in many models in different applications. It is always safer to turn off the water supply when repairing the faucet. If the o-rings are located under the spout of a 2 handle faucet you could change them without shutting off the water as long as you do not turn the handles. Thanks, Dave

How do you take off nozzle to replace o-ring rp22934. Model 172,

Asked by: Steve
Hi Steve, Thank you for your question. To remove the spout from the model 172 you will need to slide the spout retainer up the spout and out of the way. Push down on the spout and then gently pry open and remove the spout retainer. The spout should now lift up and off and allow you access to change the RP22934 o-rings. Here is a link to the parts breakdown to help you with your repair. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/172.html?document=pd&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper Thanks, Dave
