Follow up to Steve's question about removing the spout to change the O rings
Please explain what you mean when you say, "Push down on the spout and then gently pry open and remove the spout retainer."
I do not want to damage the spout. Where am I supposed to put pressure on when "pushing down on it"? Also what do you mean by prying open the spout retainer?
Thank you for your question, Emma. Once you slide the Sleeve up, you will see the white Spout Retainer around the base of the spout. This piece has a split or gap in it that you can pry open. This will allow you to remove the tab on the inside of the Spout Retainer from the slot on the spout. Since the tab could be pinched, you may need to press downward on the spout before removing the retainer. You can then swivel the spout back and forth as you lift up on it to slide it off.
