Jon, thanks for your response below. Let's try this: If I have an RP2392 faucet and lose the button, what can I use as a replacement button? Surely Delta doesn't expect me to replace the entire handle if I've just lost the button? Thanks.

Asked by: Wayne
Thank you for your question, Wayne. Unfortunately, the button covering the screw on the top of the Delta Clear Knob Handle RP2392, is not sold/available separately. The full handle would need to be replaced. Best regards, Tanya

With respect to my question below about the button, would RP18429 fit into RP2392? It looks very similar (is just missing the "Delta" on the bottom) and appears to be the right size.

Asked by: Wayne
Hello Wayne, Thanks for your question. The RP18429 button is designed to fit the H11 handle and may not fit correctly with the RP2392. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=H11 Best regards, Jon

Hi, can the button that comes with RP2392 (as shown in the illustration) be purchased separately, and if so what is the part number? Thanks!

Thank you for your question, Wayne. Unfortunately, the button is not available separately. Best regards, Jon

RP2392 came off, how do you take apart to put back on

Asked by: Teresa
Hi Teresa, Thank you for your question. The cap should pop off by carefully prying it. This will reveal a Phillip's head screw. Best regards, Jon

Doesn't seem to quite fit

I have a Delta Scald-Guard shower from about 1978. I tried replacing the acrylic faucet knob with this part, but it doesn't seem to want to go on at all (faucet stem seems too large but by appearance to be about the right shape and size). Should it fit or is there a different part number you would recommend? I have attached a close-up picture of the stem I am attempting to assemble to.

Hi Steve, Thank you for your question. Pictured is a 1600 series faucet. The replacement acrylic knob handle is the H71. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/h71.html Thanks, Dave

Can I use RP2392 handle as a replacement for H740 lockwood handle? Would this RP2392 will fit on the stem for 1400 series?

Asked by: SABA
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP2392 will fit on your 1400 series faucet.
