How can I get this part

Asked by: Redd
Thank you for your inquiry, Redd! Unfortunately, the Delta 2300 Series Sleeve Assembly RP26755 is a discontinued part, it is no longer manufactured. We would advised checking with local dealer, that may have some old stock. Best regards, Tanya

Asked by: jeff
Hi Jeff, Thank you for your question. The sleeve does not contain a flow restrictor. Best regards, Jon

what is the correct rough in valve

I am replacing the broken plastic sleeve assembly for my Model 2300 two handle shower only faucet. The left side happily controls volume and the right side controls temp. For seven years I have been thrilled with this set up. and would not dream of having any other kind of shower valves. We are adding another bathroom and I am looking at the original parts sheet which shows all of the part numbers except the pipe part (rough in brass valve) that goes in the wall. My plumber can solder 1/2" pipe to any individual parts to make this part if need be. Thank you Ari

Hi Ari, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the rough in valve to the 2300 series faucets was and is not available as a separate item. The rough only came with the complete model which was discontinued in 2001. Thanks, Dave

install directions

The original plastic sleeve broke flooding my house yesterday. Had to tear down a wall to access and locate source of water. Turned out to be a total failure of the sleeve. I found the part locally and was told you do not make them in plastic any more! Anyway, when I installed the new part the water flowed out the front at handle. I need to know where I went wrong. I am not willing to pay a plumber, I already have expensive repairs to do on a ceiling and wall that had to be torn out do to water damage! Please help

The problem was solved when I returned this valve to distributor. They took it apart and found that the manufacturer did not set the interior gasket which allowed the water to flow out the handle. The salesman set the gasket and the part is fine now. It was not a problem with the installation after all.
