quick shippingThe part was just what I needed to fix my delta faucet, on time shipping and well packaged, hopefully I will not need to fix it again too soon but I would order from this supplier again.

Worked greatMy only complaint would be that it didn't come with the screw. The picture showed the three pieces, the inside part, the screw and the outside cover. I ordered two (same price for shipping and now I have a back up in case it breaks again) and neither had the screw. I luckily had something that worked.

Not quite what I expected. The picture shows 3 pieces. I received 2, no screw. But the picture helped me understand that the original part could be separated. When I did that I found the original screw and reconnected that original parts without a problem. Thank you.
What model number is this knob associated with? Looking to replace some internal components and no longer have manual with part numbers

Hi, Charles!
Thank you for your question. The RP28595PB temperature knob and cover is part of our 1700 serise unit. Here is a parts diagram for this unit:

How do I pop off Temp Control Cover RP28595 without breaking it?
The knob is loose and I need to tighten it. I think the model number is RP28595 from the pictures on the web. Some instructions say to pop the cover off but it will not pop off. I am afraid I will break it.

Hi Bruce, Thank you for your question. To remove the temperatue knob cover on a 17 series faucet you will need to use your fingers to pry apart both sides of the round portion of the cap and then lift up from the bottom to the top to remove. Here is a link to our How to Replace a Delta Tub or Shower Cartridge video.

I have the same question. The link didn't take me the video.
How do I get the knob of a RP28595 ?
Asked by: Tom F
Hello Tom F,
Thank you for your question. You will be able to either "pop" it off of the temperature control knob by prying it off with a small screwdriver, or you will be able to slide it downward, in the opposite direction of the "pointed" end of the cover. Once the cover has been removed, you will be able to see the temperature control knob. It is held on with a screw. Unscrew the screw to remove the temperature control knob.
Best regards,
Tanya
