Is there a vinyl, plastic, or braided hose that can be used in place of this one (RP40664) that can withstand a lot of bending without breaking/cracking?

Asked by: WandE
Hi, WandE! Thank you for your question. At this time, we do not have an alternative hose assembly for the RP40664 hose assembly. Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the thread on the male end?

Is it compression or 3/8 MIP?
Asked by: Bubba Beaux Box
Dear Bubba Beaux Box, Thank you for your question. The male threads on the RP40664 hand shower hose are metric threads. You would need the conical nut RP40663 to attach it to the end of the handheld/sprayer part. You will also need a leader hose RP40667 which has the female metric threads on one end, to attach to your existing valve. Best regards, Tanya

replacing hose on older handheld unit. I have a tub handheld shower showing number A112.18 on hand unit.

Approximates the looks of the Roman tub unit. Just discovered it has been leaking just below connection to supply line. (it is in an enclosed space). I need to replace the coiled line from supply line to handheld fixture, which has a conical nut that slips over the line and receives the plastic male threads on the hand unit. I do not see this particular style listed on page. Will this hose fit the older unit? Is the connection between supply line and hand held unit standard size? Ross
Asked by: Ross
Dear Ross, Thank you for your question. The Delta Hose assembly RP40664 is for a Roman/Whirlpool Tub handshower. The conical nut RP40663 does not come with the hose assembly, it must purchased separately. The conical nut would need to be installed on the hose before attaching the other end of the hose to the leader hose, below the deck. Best regards, Tanya

DOES PART NUMBER RP40664 INCLUDE THE NUT NEEDED TO CONNECT THE HOSE TO THE SHOWER WAND

THE PHOTO ONLY SHOWS THE HOSE AND WASHERS, I DO NOT SEE THE NUT
Asked by: Todd Trupp
Hi, Mr. Trupp, Thank you for your question! The nut, RP46681 is not included with the hose assembly. It is a stand-alone part that can be purchased on it's own. Best Regards, Rosanna

Hi Joshua, Thank you for your question. The only adapter that we have for this hose is the RP46857. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp46857.html?showPhotoGallery=false#/?tab=product_where_used Best Regards, Courtney

does rp40663 nut go on rp60664 with femail treads?

Asked by: dal
Hi dal, Thank you for your question. The RP40663 has female threads that the hand shower will thread into. However, the nut simply slides onto the hose from the opposite end. Thanks, Jon
