How to take it off for repair of leak/water drips?

I have taken the set screw off. But it does not come loose. What do I do?
Asked by: SSB
Hi SSB, Thank you for your question. The handle should slide off once the set screw is loosened. If there is mineral buildup, please try soaking the handle with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes. You can wrap a cloth or rag around the handle with a rubber band to help it soak into the handle. Best regards, Jon

Our contractor screwed the set screw on one handle in too tight, and a little black plastic part fell out. Can the interior of this handle be replaced or do we need a new handle altogether? I bought the faucet two years ago, just getting it put in now.

Hello Loretta, Thank you for your inquiry! The handle insert of the RP43472SS is not sold as a separate part, the full handle would need to be replaced. Best regards, Tanya
